Subject: Question for those who receive adult fic on fkfic-l
I submitted a DarkNN story Tuesday morning entitled "Illusions of
Mortality" and I was wondering whether it went through. Apparently I
wasn't even set with the list to receive adult fic so it never showed
up in my inbox. I've since changed my subscriptions to include adult
fic. I'm pretty sure it went through because I didn't receive an
error message but I'd like confirmation from someone who got it in
their inbox.

YOu have to be specifically set to receive the adult topic. This is
because Fkfic-l runs on a state-funded listserv, so we have to avoid
possible complaints if someone's minor child gets adult material.
Please remember, one person's PG may be someone else's too graphic. :)
If you're over 18 and would like to receive the adult topic, here is
how. I'm putting the actual command in quotation marks, so the
listserv won't reject it as an attempt to give a command on the list
by mistake. I recommend using cut and paste to be sure you get the
command right.
Send a message to listserv@lists.psu.edu with the command "set
fkfic-l topics:+adult" Don't put a period after the command and don't
put anything else in the message, including no signature.
If you have trouble getting it to work, please let me know.
