Since I know next to nothing about alcoholic beverages, I was
grateful to Tim for his explanation of that line of Natalie's.
Good point, Tim!
But that line also has a history, as it came up (if I remember
correctly) in something else Disher was in very early on,
possibly her ep. of _The Campbells_. I wonder if, in addition to
helping to define the "curious Natalie" this line
may have functioned as an inside joke. I must hunt thru my old tape
& find the reference--but don't hold your breath,
this could take a while.
Also glad to see that someone besides me thought the gesture (Tim's
comment #13), well, suggestive. I wasn't
imagining things.
