Knight was a great character because they built this whole mythology surrounding his character and that of Lacroix, the vampire that bit him hundreds of years ago. The whole article can be read here: http://www.ifmagazine.com/feature.asp?article=2800 They got the premiere airdate wrong. Unless...when did the Rick Springfield pilot first air? It makes me wonder if Serena felt something from Nick and was looking to see what had made her master "twitch" (IE. Natalie entering the room) 2) there isn't any possible connection except in the look, but when Serena is talking with Schanke I get flashes again and again of Janette Goldstein's character of Diamondback from the film NearDark. Probably the hair and the strength visible in the eyes... Serena could be Diamondback's sister. 3) oh the look that Natalie gives Schanke at the line "yeah, sometimes women are like that"... :-) Jeez, Donny, if you have to think it...have the sense not to say it.... 4) Schanke writing poetry. I like this weird little piece of the character...and that they took a minute or two of time to let him spin the story. It is a nice moment for Schanke and Natalie. 5) "This is Perfectly Dreadful." LaCroix's distaste is so....refined.
