Not always true! We're still talking about 12-15, right? I have met and seen a few guys who, by all appearances, looked 11-15, but were in fact 19-21. One of them was considered quite the ladies man. There are people who look like kids all over the place, and kids who can pass for adult with the right clothes. If you flash an official ID, and mention getting mistaken all the time they'll let you do whatever you want. :) 'Rose "The true nature of the Vampire is undefined, undiscovered, inconceivably complex, and therefore, Lots of fun!" ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 11 Dec 2007 20:51:09 -0700 From: Walt <wdoherty5@c.......> Subject: Re: Kid vamps >> I suspect things would be rather difficult. >> Basic things like owning a home or driving a car would be all >> but impossible because they would be "just a kid" by all appearances. >> Relationships beyond the casual would be really problematical. > > Not always true! Couple that idea with a very bright kid who knows what he/she is doing, throw in the vampiric hypnotizing ability . . . . I'm not saying this is likely, but it certainly falls within the realm of possibility. Aslo, I think the kid would need to be at least 12 or early teens. Any younger and I don't think they would have the conceptual ability to plan and run their own lives let alone anyone else's. If you remember Jon first started on FK as a camera man and moved up to director. He really looked great in the interview. A little grey in the beard but aren't e all? I wondered if any of us on FOrkni-l are in the ice storm that's created such havoc in parts of the U.S., especially all the power outages. Does anyone know anything? While I was in Dublin I got to meet Maggie, our own Magzor. We've become friends over the years via the internet, but it was a treasured chance to meet her. So if anyone is interested, here is a picture. I'm on the left, Magz is on the right. :) http://www.flickr.com/photos/21765359@N05/?saved=1 Kristen Fife, Author http://tinyurl.com/2wgmdg In Memory of Tuffer -1/9/02-11/15/07 ------------------------------ End of FORKNI-L Digest - 11 Dec 2007 to 12 Dec 2007 (#2007-138) ***************************************************************
