Basically whenever something hits the internet that has "Forever Knight" in it, I get a little message with a link to where the content is. I have gotten at least one or two each day. This > discussion has me wondering if perhaps she truly was ill, possibly with > something There may be something to this. In the historical record, the Emperor Caligula started out pretty good, but very early on he became ill (appaerntly with what Victorians called "brain fever", a general discription for a high fever and being out of your head sick). It's after that that he lost it and went bananas. So, in other words as far as Divia is concerned, it could happen. On the other hand, maybe she was just a little . . . uh, ah, oh yeah . . . witch - -yeah, that's it, a little 'witch'! ;-) Walt Doherty Phoenix, AZ ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 4 Dec 2007 22:47:57 -0800 From: Nancy Kaminski <nancykam@c.......> Subject: Re: Kid Vamps... ---- Original Message ----- From: "Lisa McDavid" <mclisa@m.......> > Actually syphilis was imported from the new world after European contact. > This doesn't, of course, rule out other diseases or even brain injury. I believe that for syphilis to cause dementia takes quite a long time, 20 years or so. Divia was too young to suffer from that. > I had always thought Divia simply happened to be a sociopath. The reasons > for that condition are not clearly understood. There may be a physical as > well as a psychological component. That's what I always thought. She was just bad from the get-go. Becoming a vampire only magnified it. Nancy Kaminski ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 4 Dec 2007 21:53:56 -0800 From: ChicagoMel <sgt_buck_frobisher@y.......> Subject: Re Ha! It is an interesting side to her personality to see her actually concerned about some mortals. 2) I like the little jerk away from Nick's kiss that Janette does in the Raven as she remembers her dying friend. It was a nice touch that intimacy at that moment was not what she wanted. I also like the depth of her anger toward the dead girl's pimp. Janette angry is something ferocious to see. 3) Nick Knight....even off-duty hookers melt at the glimpse of his stubbly wirebrush-bearded face... 4) I'm surprised Janette didn't break the pimp's wrist when she grabbed it in the Raven. 5) It is a truely dark FK episode when the brightness is supplied by LaCroix snuffing out Janette's pimp. 6) I like the little smiles Natalie and Janette have when Nick whammies the Vice cop. And Natalie's plea that Nick show her how to do that sometime is always funny. 7) How many TV couples have you ever seen where they both have the ritual of him getting out of the car to open her door for her (the way Nick/Janette do) ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 5 Dec 2007 09:44:44 -0500 From: "Phillips, Tim" <Tim.Phillips@s.......> Subject: Episode Discussion Scheduling: Stranger Than Fiction Stranger Than Fiction is the next episode up December 18th is the day.
