OHHHHHH Dear *sigh*

I am sending this to the whole List, because I am hoping that others will
support ME in supporting *Ramona,* who appears to have gone into Lurkdom; and
I feel like I started it; I didn't mean to. Yes, I know I am really speaking
to only one person, but, as I said, I feel like I started a thread that drove
someone *new* into said Lurkdom, and please, would some folks help me out?
I am a _serious_ Lurker myself <grin>, and I just feel awful.

Ramona, wherefore art thou, Ramona? <--Yeah, OK, pun intended :-) [Except, I
 mean it]

And, she wrote: <<Haven't got one, sorry to say, not in my reply mode. No
answer button either in gmail...so I'm sorry that I'm unable to comply with these
requests. Must I now become only a lurker or drop out now?>>

No, No, No!!

At least not in my opinion. I didn't know about the differences in "gmail,"
for one thing. As Libby pointed out, it isn't a steadfast rule, (topics
changes), though McLisa, Listmom/owner did request it, too. I haven't seen a
single solitary post from Ramona since "we" were trying to help her; and,
well, I just feel awful about it. My humblest apologies. :( Had I known
about the differences in mailers, I would have kept quiet in the first
 place....... *sigh*

<<Thanks to everyone who has tried to help me with this problem. It seems
that it's insurmountable. Sorry about that.>>

Omigosh, I hope not, and I apologize.........; plus, you are welcome--although
*I* gave no advice, only asked the question that started the whole thing.

<< Not certain I know exactly how to handle them correctly. Here's my first
attempt, Billie-Lee. How's this?>>

It's really clear from all the posts every attempt was made to correct it; good
 show! :)

I don't know how other folks feel, but I would like to invite Ramona back to
posting, even if she is having trouble with changing the Topic Header/Subject
 Line????????

And as for Forever-Knight-Ness: <g>

You know you have been thinking about Forever Knight too long;
Been a Forever Knight Fan Too Long;
Been Watching Too Much Forever Forever Knight (or, maybe should have
 been?).....

When:

You watch every episode of Blood Ties (that has aired), plus a little Moonlight
mixed in, and, even though you LIKE Mick and think "Henry" is to *die* for
 <LOL!>..........

You start (metaphorically) banging your head against the wall, don't even
bother with Angel or Buffy, 'coz that won't help...............

So, you pull out the Forever Knight DVDs and start from the beginning, because,
no matter what, even though you're a fan of all the others,........

IT'S JUST NOT THE SAME!! :-) :0) :-D

I now return you to your regularly scheduled programming. *wink*

Forever Yours,
Billie-Lee

As someone pointed out, in gmail when you hit reply,
underneath the "To" field, to the right of "add cc"
and "add bcc", there is a clickable link that says
"edit subject". Clicking on that will allow the user
to change what's written in the subject line. That
way, a FORKNI-L'er can change the Digest information
in the subject line to reflect the topic in the Digest
post that their reply talks about.

Sorry to go over previously mentioned stuff, but with
Ramona seeming to have gone into lurkdom, I'm afraid
she might have missed it.

Coming from another lurker, I'll second that request. I also have a gmail
account and I didn't know about the issues with the subject header -- pretty
obvious that I don't use said account a lot! I, too, hope Ramona hasn't given
up on the list. It's always great to read someone else's take on the show and
after 10 years on this list, I'm still amazed that someone does still occasionally
come up with something that I'd never really thought about.

Same here. Ramona, please come back! It's not a problem if your mailer gets
away from you -- and Don and I are the official designators of problems. :) Most
of us have had it happen at some time, including me. You're a valued
 contributor and we miss you.
