I have a friend in Brazil who would like to see the Forever Knight series. They only showed season 1 there, and now she'd like to see the whole thing. Does anyone have a set of old tapes they want to get rid of, or home DVDs made from tapes that they could copy? Unfortunately, getting the pro sets is too expensive for my friend, and I promised I'd ask about alternatives. Please contact me OFF LIST, if you can help. Thanks in advance. The Caddy made the Sunday edition of the Lakeland Ledger in Florida for her showing in the Lake Mirror Auto Classic show. She's been in Classic Auto Air the past three weeks trying to get her air conditioning working. Get well cards are appreciated. LOL ForeverKnight diehard, but first and foremost a CaddyWhacker. But geez, you suck somebody dry and then you call 911 for body removal? ;-> And while Mick may not be as angst-driven as Nick, he still wasn't very happy about exposing himself as a vampire to Beth. It strikes me as FK-light. But the most interesting thing about it is the diversity of opinions about the show. You can read six different reviews and get six totally different opinions, from terrible to great. It makes you wonder if all these people saw the same show. I don't know about DVD players in Brazil but European ones play both NTSC and Pal without any problems, it's the regional code that's the bummer (usually this isn't a problem with self-made DVDs). Videos are a different matter though, you need a VCR that can handle both (again hardly ever a problem in Europe but Brazil, who knows?) BUt maybe our European fraction can help out there, Am 18.10.2007 um 04:34 schrieb KC Monroe: > --- NAT <nat1228@c.......> wrote: > >> I have a friend in Brazil who would like to see the >> Forever Knight series. > > Doesn't Brazil use PAL video which would mean US tapes > and DVDs would not play? > > KC > ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 18 Oct 2007 09:04:55 -0700 From: Adina Montgomery <adinaruth@e.......> Subject: Re: Moonlight Ep 3 sure was better than the prior 2. We're starting to see Mick a bit more angsty, and learning why. There've been a few posts that were just about Moonlight. Please take these to private mail, or the list Libs was going to establish (Lib? How's that going) or if there's a Moonlight list, to that.
