It always amazes me how some things in TV don't change.... New Amsterdam, one of the 2007 echoes of Forever Knight, have been "bumped" to mid-season by Fox but most likely will be trash canned completely. I can't help wondering, if FK was being produced now as opposed to the 1990's, would it have even a single episode air? My guess is probably not... unless they got a formerly big name, but now down on his luck, movie actor to play Nick instead of Ger. Keep in mind that sometimes announced series are bumped or taken off the schedule for very good reason - the pilot and/or first episodes end up being horrible not judged just by television executives, but by test audiences. I don't know if that's the case with "New Amsterdam" or not. I did hear it was the situation with what was to have been the newest version of Dark Shadows that was to have aired a few years ago. I think FK would have had the same chance today as back then because it could be produced relatively inexpensively without a lot of special effects. But that's really all speculative. --Libby Lori Isabella <LDukie913@a.......> wrote: It always amazes me how some things in TV don't change....
