Uncle would be too high class for that. He'd simply just have a black onyx
ring custom designed. Nick and Vachon I could see, though Nicky's would
stay black forever due to both his mood and poor diet. Vachon's would be
purple for that slacker serenity.....

Subject: How much of ourselves do we inject into our original characters?
I've been wanting to throw this out for discussion for a long while, and
since this isn't an actual story, I thought I'd post this here instead of
FKFANFIC-L.
How much do we put of ourselves in our original characters added to Forever
Knight Fan Fiction? I know I do have a few things in common with my
character, Alina Annenko. I try to inject a little of myself in her, just
as many published authors do. But, I'm not trying to be Laurell K. Hamilton
and wanting to be Anita Blake. We are both redheads with green eyes. We
both share a wickedly dark and lewd sense of humor. I get just as impatient
as she does, although I'm only bold with my family. We even share a Slavic
background; I mostly Polish and Ukrainian. Her, a noblewoman from 16th
century Kiev when it was part of the Poland-Lithuania Commonwealth, before
staying in Russia for most of her existence.
Of course, I'm not a 5'10 =BD and 140 lbs. amazon, but we both have our double
d's :-)
