Having now seen the first season, and compared it to FK, I found it had
potential but FK had much better storylines(nothing very innovative about
Moonlight's)and it wasnt until near the end of the season did you see any
deeper character development, no real flashbacks to the past times etc,
where i think FK enriched its stories and characters by doing this. And
though i liked Moonlight enough to watch the next season, FK is still top
of my list!:)

Actually, she did archive as much as she could here:

http://www.fkfanfic.com/jadfe/

Anybody who wants to submit and edit new fic to JADFE can now do it
automatically on that website.

Subject: Bridge Collapse in Minneapolis

I've gotten a bunch of emails from concerned friends about this
disaster in my home town---just thought I'd let everyone know that all
is well with me and my family.

The 35W river bridge is less than a mile from my house. I normally
drive over it twice a day to and from work, but I've been avoiding it
this last month because the construction that has closed two of the
four lanes on each side caused a lot of delays during rush hour. That
said, I had to leave work early today to go to my brother's office for
a dental checkup, and briefly considered taking 35W because it wasn't
rush hour yet. At the last minute I took another route. I would have
been majorly creeped out to think I had driven over it just 3 hours
before it collapse.

This is just so horrible, but I guess it's lucky that there was
construction. Without those lanes closed, there would have been much
heavier traffic going 60 mph on the bridge when it collapsed. As it
was, they think about 50 cars were involved, and so far have reported
7 fatalities (but more are expected).

It's a sad, sad day for Minneapolis.

with many memories of the bridge, including one night in a blizzard
when I spun in a slow-motion 360 on black ice halfway across

But why has the title page a Japanese Manga appearance? Doesn't look at
all like an FK site to me although it says so.

Nancy it's so good to hear that you and yours are okay. I just heard it
on the news here.

Doris

PS: I wanted this to go privately but my e-mail to Nancy bounced back to
me. Sorry for sending this onlist.

The new site will be using Efiction to allow authors (and readers) to
register and post stories and reviews. This is the same software that
I will use for the main site once I get it upgraded. I haven't had a
chance to get the template updated with new graphics for JADFE. If
anyone would be willing to do graphics work for this, let me know.

So far, I have added all of the Nick/Nat stories from the old JADFE
and am working on the rest of the stories as I have time. It's
rather time consuming as the formatting of the old stories is diverse
and takes time to clean up to put into the new archive.

You can go ahead and add stories to the new JADFE if you wish. If you
are an existing author with stories there, drop me an email and I'll
set you up with access to your stories.

I also know we are missing a good number of stories from the old
original James and Darkangels site, so if anyone has a backup of these
or the original CD they made years ago, let me know!

Thanks,
Mel

   I must have missed something.
I thought Moonlight was starting in September?
