It sure does! I saw this news myself yesterday and got really excited.

ReGenesis is currently in it's third season and according to imdb Ger made
an appearance earlier in the season but in reading a few articles about the
launch of the new season I was under the impression that he might be making
another guest appearance before the season was over.

The show will more than likely hit U.S. syndication markets in the Fall so
I'm guessing September or October.

I picked up Season 2 when I was in BC last fall and
love it :)
I picked it up for Ger's appearance but I truly loved
the entire show.

I wish somewhere along the line they would stage an entire
version of the Macbeth performance that they do in the show. The
whole Macbeth set in Sarajevo thing is a cool concept and Ger was
really good as "Mackers". The Lady M stripping Mackers on
stage and washing the blood off him was inspired... though honestly
I don't think I would be comfortable seeing ALL of Ger that way.
I love that Ger keeps "popping up' here and there on TV. On S&A,
"24" etc since I doubt I will be able to ever see him on stage unless
he does something in Chicago or Minneapolis. This may sound
goofy, but I would like to see him in something REALLY different like
the next Star Trek movie that is in the works or a musical. Does anybody
know... does Ger sing?

He's already done a musical. Ger was Professor Henry Higgins in My Fair
Lady at the 50th Anniversary Season of the Stratford (Ontario) Festival.

Actually, Ger has a very nice singing voice, there is a snippet of him
singing in an episode of Black Harbour.

1) why is Schanke so mean to the forensic tech at the murder scene?? I
know he is supposed to be annoying, but his picking goes a little too
far for my taste.

2) I liked Schanke's dance celebrating that he was right and Nick was
wrong and that Nick admits it.

3) I like that Stonetree doesn't ignore the evidence give him by Nick
(when he goes back for the 2nd statement). The Inspector and his wife
are personal friends, but Stonetree is too much of a professional to
ignore a crime when the evidence is waved in his face - even if Nick got
it by working a case that Stonetree told him to drop. Shown proof of a
crime, he (if grumpily) swallows his displeasure and starts following up
to see what is going on.

4) anyone know what the "veggie drinks" were that Ger was drinking on
set? Looks like green chalk in milk. Probably was just green
foodcoloring in something like buttermilk...but man that doesn't look
like anything anyone should be eating.

5) did anyone else notice that Natalie was eating her lunch with
surgical tweezers from one of the forensic lab's tool trays?
I thought at first they were chopsticks, until I really looked close.
Man she must be fun at a office pot-luck.
Proof of bravery in the Toronto police department is to eat something
unidentified that Natalie brings to the Christmas party.

6) that said, I like the little "slice of real life" that the show ends
at a precinct picnic/ballgame. Right at the very end of that, just
before the cutaway to the credits, Natalie has an odd look on her face
and it seems like she's about to say something. Anyone know if there is
a line or two that was scripted and shot but edited out?

I may be completely off-base here, as I am flying blind at work without
having seen the ep for a while, but isn't Dead Issue where a relative of
John Kapelos had a bit part? That might be why he's riding him so much!

You're going to hate me for this, but Ger did "Do Not Go Gentle", a one-man
play on Dylan Thomas at Chicago's Navy Pier, about 3 or 4 years ago. Several of
us from the LIST went, and we all had a good time.

Most people have minds like concrete: mixed up or permanently set.

I'm not sure if it was intentional but the tech was played by John
Kapelos' brother, so the bickering might have been improvised by the two
of them. Does anyone know more?

    Mmm.
I had never heard that...but it would make sense.
The camera did linger on the other actor for a moment or two
longer than absolutely necessary.
That it was an in-joke amidst the cast and crew has the right
feel.

	Ahhh.
	Now it makes sense.
