I don't think so. Maybe her reaction is more aimed at the romantic interest
itself that Nick shows towards another woman. No matter who that woman is, just
the fact that Nick shows this reaction might be a surprise to her, since he
always held her at bay.

Also, she might be worried about Nick sliding back, because he always told
her that it's not possible to have a relationship with a mortal.

Who do you think was the first to decide? Clearly the two vampires had been
watching Nick. But do you wonder whether the initial impetus came from
LaCroix? That he saw something in the young crusader that made him want him
for his "family", and got Janette to find out more--and that she liked what
she saw enough to want Nick on her own account?
I mean it's obvious that she wanted to have LaCroix bring Nick over
so that she could enjoy him more than once. (And, in a later episode she
makes it clear that she has never succeeded in bringing anyone across
herself.) But, if turning Nick into a vampire had been primarily Janette's
idea, and she'd simply asked LaCroix to do it for her, then-- knowing his
usual response to Nick--you'd think he'd just tell her to enjoy a good drink
and move on.
So I think it must have been even more his idea than hers.

Maybe he was playing the role to well and Nat thought maybe he was falling for
her. On another note. I've always wondered how much Schanke was in on the
sting, or at what point did Nick clue him in. Phylils

I agree. Nick has told Nat he can't get close to humans, that he's
dangerous. And then he seemingly starts putting the moves on Ann
Foley. No matter how platonic a relationship may be, I don't think a
woman can help thinking, even momentarily, "what's wrong with me? Why
doesn't he think of ME that way?"

Subject: Ribena, fake in more ways than one?

I was just watching CNN and their scroll reported that the manufacturer of
Ribena (the sickeningly sweet syrup used in FK in place of blood) is being
sued for false claims. Apparently 2 New Zealand scientists found no
detectable levels of vitamin C in the product. The label on my bottle of
the stuff claims that 3 tablespoons of the syrup contains 100% of the daily
recommended daily allowance of Vitamin C.

An odd FK moment.

I sometimes listen to the American Forces Radio station (AFN) on my way to work
in the morning. FK is not very well known in Germany anymore and has but a
small following and so I never (honestly!) heard anything FK related on any
radio station before. This morning they brought a public announcement about
some *snicker* Easter Market at Wiesbaden Army airfield and the background
music to the Easter Bunny talking was - believe it or not - the FK Theme music.

In fairness, though they got off a bit lightly if you ask me!...

The scientists were two 15 year old school girls doing a science
project...go the kiwi girls!:P

But the zero vit C was only in the premixed small cartons, and sparkling
bottles.
The syrup does contain the specified vit C content labled on the back of
bottle...however it does not contain 4 times vit C than oranges as it
implied in advertising. The raw blackcurrant fruit does, the syrup does
not.

All that said and done...who cares!(ok i do about being mislead but...)
makes good bloodwine! and tastes goood:P

Ok...my brother is a rabid hockey fan and I like baseball. He sent
me this video
"Clark: The Canadian Hockey Goalie"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdf4GeT4ELA

IT is a little short video... but was I found funny was the name of
the actor playing Clark....
watch the credits... his name is Nicholas Vachon. :-)

My overall impression, throughout "Dance by the Light of the Moon", is that Ann
is completely out of her league. Compared to Nick, who has been doing this kind
of thing for centuries, she is a total amateur, and he plays her with complete
skill from the very beginning. He is so skilled that he even fools Natalie into
believing (if only for a moment) that his interest in Ann is real.

Your humble & obedient servant,
Angela Gottfred
