I was just looking at the show, and Christina Cox
played Jeanne D'Arc in FK (she is playing Vicky Nelson
in Blood Ties.) :)

Thank you, Laila, for the excellent report on Richard III. I've just finished
reading it again, as well as watching the Laurence Olivier version on tape, and
will be seeing the DC production next weekend, if all goes well and I can
survive the temperatures. (I'm coming from 80-degree Southern California!) :-)

Was sorry to hear that GWD caught pneumonia. Ouch. Hope he's better.

Historical indications are that Shakespeare seriously maligned Richard III in
order to curry favor with Queen Elizabeth. Henry VII, who defeated Richard III
and then became king, was Elizabeth's grandfather, after all. He may well have
been the real guilty party in the murder of the little princes, among other
evil deeds the bard attributed to Richard.

Still and all, Shakespeare's Richard is a great villain. Looking forward to
seeing GWD bring him to life.

The book is "Blood Lines". It's the third one in the set. Check out Tanya's
Shadow series for more FK references and more adventures with Henry Fitzroy.

Most people have minds like concrete: mixed up or permanently set.

Tanya Huff had a shout out to Forever Knight in the Blood Ties series. There
was a scene in a jail, and one inmate was named Natalie and another was named
Lambert. I forget which book, though. Great series.
