They have some kind of sonar to keep them from running into anything at hyper speed. Um....no. He looks pretty good, but definitely not the skinny young thing from the first season. And to keep it all fair, I'm not the person I was in 1993 either. <g>. Of course, since it's highly unlikely that Eddie was there, he probably did get things wrong. The question is *what*? The phrase "gang robbery" suggests (at least to me) a robbery by some sort of street gang. Do they usually use explosives? I wouldn't think so--except for the suggestion earlier that someone might have been toying with a grenade to scare people into playing ball. So one possibility is that Eddie got the type of explosive wrong. On the other hand, to me, the "pipe bomb" bit--in the context of a gang--suggests some sort of hate crime, rather than robbery. Tossing a pipe bomb into the store, the way you would a Molotov cocktail. Now, if Nick tried to stop something like that, I can easily see the bomb getting tossed at him instead--either to scare the interfering bystander into running, or to give the gang members a chance to run away themselves. But Eddie definitely said "robbery". *And* he said "pipe bomb". Maybe the intention was to commit the robbery, and then blow up the place on leaving? I mean, if you are going to blow up a store, why let all that money get destroyed?
