I have the first five episodes up (including zip files for download). There are lots of yummy pics, including Vachon and Tracy, and on page 2 of "Blackwing", some really great shots of Screed. :-) I'm going to be doing my best to finish up the Season 3 archive, but from now until the end of November, I have some serious writing I need to attend to, so I can't promise that the eps will go up quickly. After that, I'll try to work harder to get the season done. In the meantime, take a look, and don't forget to come back often and check up on the progress. As a writer, I actually found that the quartet of Nick-Natalie-Tracy-Vachon gave me some interesting plot mechanisms. I'm not overly fond of most of the changes made S3, but I will STILL say that "My Boyfriend Is A Vampire" is one of my fave eps. --- Cheryl <fknight420@c.......> wrote: Tracey's character in > my opinion was so bad, I can see why the show > failed; she only added the > fact that she was the comissioners daughter and she > can do the job, not. I understand what your saying; but I hate the old tale of blond, blue eyed and the comissioneer's daughter trying to prove herself with a hard nose Detective even he is a vampire. It don't work in any story, but I would have loved to see Schanke find out about Nick and jokingly needle him, plus watch LaCroix and Nick bond closer now that he owns the club and the shared the death of Vachon Urs, and Divia, that would have worked nicely. They assume that every feeding results in a new recruit. They also posit maximum reproduction for vampires but not for humans. If you follow the same logic for the prey, humans can begin reproducing at 12 and produce about one offspring a year until they're 40. Did they go into the math for that end of things? Of course not! You can use the same math to prove that there should be a number of cockroaches that is greater than the entire biomass of the planet, but obviously that's not the case, at least not outside of Manhattan. ;p If you took FK vampires, which can choose whether to create a new vampire and for whom such reproduction doesn't always work anyway, then it's much more feasible. ;-) -Janet(te) Nat Pack despite the name ;-) ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 26 Oct 2006 07:55:21 -0700 From: "D. With the end of the show, and Nick's ending for his quest for mortality, it seems to me that using Natalie would be the logical final image on the front of S3. In most of the European folk tales, there is no mention of actually having the victim needing to drink the blood to turn; Ann Rice obviously employed it, but when WAS this MO first used in fiction? --- eruve erundun <eruveerundun@y.......> wrote: And we all know that vampires > don't always turn their victims into vampires. > > Joe LaCour <joelacour@c.......> wrote: > http://news.yahoo.com/s/space/20061025/sc_space/vampiresamathematicalimpossibilityscientistsays > Kristen Fife, Author http://writersweekend.com - Spend a Passionate Weekend With Your Muse http://scarletmuse.com -An Erotic Writer's Conference ------------------------------ End of FORKNI-L Digest - 24 Oct 2006 to 26 Oct 2006 (#2006-34) **************************************************************
