Mel, the new site layout is FABULOUS. I'm so glad things are going better for you Mel. Thank you so much for hosting it in the first place. I know of no other fandom that has a central archive for fiction. So here's to Mel, here's to FK and here's to us, for keeping the fandom vibrant after all these years. Subject: Re: The Caddy Well, the Caddy had her first retired Classic Car Show today. She was presented at the Lake Mirror Classic in Lakeland, Florida. Everyone attending the show was thrilled at her custom color. I estimate about 4,000 people came to view over 250 cars. The Caddy was in the post-war group, 1945 to 1962. I counted 71 people who actually knew about the show and we're excited to see Nick's Caddy. I must have repeated details about the show to non-FK'ers over 300 times. I've got a slight case of laryngitis now. Hopefully we'll get a few more people 'brought over' as I pushed the Oct 3 release of the third season DVD. Let me also clear up a few things about the car. The Caddy Nick drove was a 1961 Caddy, '62 Series. You can tell the car is a '61 in the show by the front running lights in the bumper are round. The '62 which was the stunt car has square running lights in the bumper. Also the A/C, clock, radio [which is AM] and courtesy lights do not work. The heater DOES work. So Schanke should not have been so cold when riding with Nick. The color of the car is not any color used by a car company. The color was custom blended for the production company. As this color showed up best on film for the night shots. All in all the day was a dream come true for me; to be able to display the Forever Knight Caddy to the public and the show's still loyal fans. KnightWitch ;-]= CaddyWhacker, first and foremost. Having participated in a British Car Show this summer for the first time (I brought MINIBEE to display with all the other New and Classic Minis owned by members of my Mini Club---the MINI-Sota Motoring, Pizza-Eating and Psychiatric Self-Help Association <g>) I know how marvelous it is to see beautiful classic cars and to meet so many nice people. And how much more fun to have such a stand-out of a car! Have fun with the Caddy. I know you'll take care of our baby. :-) Nancy Kaminski envious ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 22 Oct 2006 08:25:47 -0400 From: Naia Zifu <naia_zifu@b.......> Subject: Question on Black Budha I think it would be more merciful of him to kill her than to let her live an eternity thinking she'd caused all those deaths. I would like to think he's the sort who would show mercy and grant her wish. After all, if there's anything Nick knows, it's having to live eternally with hundreds of deaths on one's conscience. . .
