(brushing off the cobwebs and de-lurking...) My husband and I are going to Toronto for 3 days starting Thursday for vacation and to see a concert and the Hummingbird Centre Saturday night. I've picked up some location addresses from what people have posted from their trips on their websites, but is there a central list somewhere? We're staying downtown at the Marriott Downtown Eaton Center on Bay St, and I would like to see some locations that are either in walking distance or relatively easy to get to on public transportation. I'm already planning on going to the CN Tower of course :) (even though hubby won't go up with me because of heights) and the Hockey Hall of Fame (hockey fan). Thanks for any help! I know there is the BCE Place (I think... it's been a while) on Front Street. Happy Belated Birthday Kristen! Glad to hear you had quite a party. I take it you're back from Greece. Would have wished you sooner but today's the first day I got Internet connectivity again thanks to a coffee joint. My home PC's dead and likely to stay that way for awhile. Anyhoo..enjoy now and onward! A week or two ago we we spent the day going around to yard sales and thrift stores. On the way to one of them I saw a truck with a huge "GWD" logo emblazoned on the side in gold. Then there was a Western clothing store by the Goodwill we went to that had a "Vaquero" sign in the window. I need at least a few weeks to get over the holidays. Though for Febuary, Valentines themes might be fun to play with through fics. I can think of a -ton- of uses for a crate of cupid shaped candies!
