Looking forward to teaching Dylan Thomas' poetry next year in my British Lit class, I wondered if perhaps there was a video available of Ger's performance - I think it was Do Not Go Gentle - I'm sure ya'll know what I'm talking about. I know next to nothing about the play, except that Ger played Thomas. I thought that a video of the performance might be a good supplement to teaching on Thomas' poetry, if the language isn't too rough and IF there's a place to purchase a video. Help? The ISBN is 0-9682168-7-0, the publisher is called Pendragon Publishing. I bought the script at the theatre in Stratford directly so I don't know if it's readily available elsewhere. It is a single tape done as a radio play. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0660175800/qid=1149695634/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/104-6607995-1099120?v=glance&s=books If the link doesn't work search "Leon Pownall" under books. > I'm not sure a video exists ---------- KC ------------------------------ End of FORKNI-L Digest - 6 Jun 2006 to 7 Jun 2006 (#2006-156) *************************************************************
