It will be posted here: > http://ithidrial.livejournal.com > Meanwhile, this list is soo quiet - is everyone away on vacation at the same time or something? I know it's a holiday weekend in both the US and the UK, but still... Should the list really be impersonating the dodo this badly? Maybe we should start discussing the episodes here on the main list? If it was done in the past it was some time ago - I joined the list a good five years ago, and it's not been done in all that time. Which means there must be a good many members who've never had the chance to join in such discussions. And from experience of other lists, it usually gets the list back up and running! My Jane Austen list re-reads all her works in turn - takes about two and a half years to work through them, and though I've been involved in about three re-reads, I still find that every time we do a reading, someone points out something I'd never noticed before, or we discuss a new aspect of a that novel or particular character. Does that sound like something you'd like to be getting out of Forever Knight, folks? So - first of all, who likes the idea of doing an episode by episode review and discussion on the list? And who doesn't - and if so, why, pretty please? I know from the Austen list that it seems to work best when one person sets up the dates and then matches volunteers to each group of chapters (or in this case, episode). Each person only has to do one episode - we've more than enough members to cover all three seasons, and I'm willing to run the 'diary' of who does which episode if we do decided to go down this route. Of course, we then have to decide which of two options to go for - either, volunteering for specific episodes (which may leave some of the less popular episodes uncovered, while others have dozens of volunteers to do the review of them): or, just volunteer to do one episode from whichever season is coming up for discussion, and then I'll discuss offline with volunteers both which dates are best for them and if they have a preferred episode they want to cover. My own choice would be starting with season 1, episode 1 (well, ok, 1 and 2, since Dark Knight is a two-parter.) That's up to the list consensus as to where to begin. McLisa, here, just a bit overwhelmed lately :) ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 29 May 2006 10:04:07 -0700 From: iguanagirl lyann <iguanagrl@y......> Subject: Re: Episode Discussions started on Livejournal > Meanwhile, this list is soo quiet - is everyone away > on vacation at the same > time or something? > > Maybe we should start discussing the episodes here > on the main list? I think it would be a great idea. I don't do the livejournal thing and would like a chance to participate. In fact I have convinced my son that we could watch these on my days off while they are out of school. Now what would be really nice is if they announced the third season coming out on dvd soon. lol Phylis Phylis (Knightfilli) N&NPacker, Knightie, Dark Knightie phylis_s_2000_2001@y...... http://www.geocities.com/phylis_s_2000_2001/phylis_poetry_homepage.html "We all have our demons."
