Subject: Spreading the Knight Love

I’ve been thinking about the FK fandom and how some fans feel like it has
weakened. While I still receive plenty of hits on my FK site (nearly 1,000 a
week), I think the interest is still there, but fans are running out of
things to talk about. The “interactivity” seems to be dying in some ways or
fans have moved to other locations (there are a good # of active fans at my
site forum). Therefore, my question for you all is how can we rekindle the
interest? I’ve come up with a few ideas.

First, how about spreading the word about our beloved show? The internet is
a wonderful opportunity for this, since Sony failed to do so many years ago.
Every time I introduce the show to someone, especially a vampire fan, they
love it. Now that the DVDs are out, people can rent them easily and if they
like it eventually purchase their own sets.

Now, how to go about spreading the word without coming across as “spam?”
Well, perhaps we could target “vampire related” forums? If any of you are
already members at forums such as these, you could casually mention FK in
the OT section. I’m also thinking about making an easy to view, “compressed”
version of my FK trailer, so if anyone wants to help spread the word you can
link to it and show them.

We truly need to increase our numbers. FK always had the potential to be a
really successful series. We need to join together to spread the word about
our Knight. This could also help us get season 3 on DVD by having more
people purchase season 1 and 2.

So, what do you think? Will you all join me in spreading the “Knight Love?”
More ideas are also welcome.

I found out what happened to Nick and Natalie after last knight....

On my way to work this morning I passed a truck... on the side was
"NickNat Moving and Storage" (there was no space between the Nick
and Nat)

Talk about moving on....

I'm looking for Sami Swan Thompson. The last 2 messages I've sent her
bounced.

Subject: Ger's Plays

For those of us who are trying to arrange vacations, are there any groups
getting together to see Ger in D.C. either this summer or next winter? I've
already been pretty well blocked out of summer dates, unless it's really
last minute, but February looks wide open at this point.

Announcing a brand new FK/House, M.D. crossover story by a well-known
Nick&Nat writer, writing under a new pseudonym (A.S. Nightbird). Come
along and enjoy the ride as Gregory House ponders how to cure the
ultimate disease: vampirism. Rated R for mature situations, this
story should not be accessed by anyone under 18 years of age.

Just go to my fiction page and click on "Non-Series Stories" to find
"The Things That One Tames" by A.S. Nightbird. Enjoy, and don't
forget to send feedback to the author.
