(In case you didn't know, the Foundation is THE largest philanthropic organzation in the world and is based in Seattle.) I don't think I got the job, but boy was it an experience. :) P. S. Don't worry about me, I have had four other interviews this week and I've got some freelance work coming in ;) "The price for this gift is the darkness of the night, and the blood of humanity to sustain you." -THICKER THAN WATER, Kristen Fife in progress See my blog at http://spaces.msn.com/members/landinn/ ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 27 Apr 2006 17:59:04 -0700 From: Amanda Berendt <debrabant_foundation@y.......> Subject: Thanks for all the help Hi- I just want to thank everyone for all the opinons and pointers for my CERK website for class. I submitted it today. The prof said she'd be grading them next week. <crosses fingers> Since I plan to tweak it a little bit before I put it online again, it might be a little while. I am now focusing on redoing my own site. (FrontPage is SOOOOO much easier than having to use notepad.) I have been wanting to redo it for a while and just haven't had the time or energy. I will be revamping my site page by page, so it may be a while. Right now I am working on the main fiction page, so keep an eye out. I'll make an announcement when I do put a new page up. Again, thanks. I really appreciate it!!! You guys are great! -Amanda "This thing... man... whatever it is...evil may have created it, left its mark on it, but evil does not rule it. The characters are exactly like our favorite quartet (granted, the background and physical description are different). <snip> Cassie hit the exact reason I quit reading "vampire romance" novels. I tend to find them so much like FK. Of course, then I get frustrated that it ISN'T FK. These days when I need a vamp romance fix, I read FK fanfic. So much more satisfying. Why settle for a sound-alike? ;-) Please keep writing, you wonderful FK fanfic writers! It's not on JADFE, fkfanfic/2, NNpack, DarkNN etc. I thought it was on the same site with links from "Didacts and Narpets" but I didn't find it. Anyone know where it is? Subject: Looking For A Story Hi all, I'm looking for a story. It was a short story, I think. It took place in season 3, i.e. it has Tracy in it. It takes place at a crime scene. A extremely beuatiful woman was either the one who found the victim, was the witness or both. All the men around there are falling all over themselves to be near here. She even manages to grab Nick's attention for a moment. Natalie sees this and is upset, leaving the scene. Tracy then bawls her partner out and Nick goes chasing after Nat. I'm pretty sure it was an adult story. I just can't remember the title or who wrote it. Can anyone help? She's got ovarian cancer, only now sans ovaries. She had cancer on one, and a more-than-half-a-kilo tumor on the other, which was pressing against her colon. It was actually attached, but they were able to remove it without problems. She had fibroids on her uterus, too, so they removed it as well. The breast cancer was small and easy to remove because they caught it extremely early. I don't know anything about her gallbladder yet, though. She's going to have to have chemo, but they're talking only once a month, so it won't be as bad as it could be. They think they got all the cancer. Thanks for your prayers, y'all. She's still going to need them, if y'all don't mind.
