Most of you know I've been sick, right? The doctor's been having me do extra
labs the last couple of weeks and saw me today. Turns out my kidneys are
acting up and I'm going back on weekly methotrexate injections. Since I
doubt many of you have seen MTX, it's bright, bright neon yellow. I've been
sitting here feeling picked on and a bit sorry for myself, when I suddenly
had a thought that cheered me up a *lot*.

"Dammit, I want a WAR! I could glow in the dark!"

(The really scary part is, I actually have an idea for one. But I'd need
help running one, since I've never even been Merc Mommy General.)

So can we, Mom and Dad? Huh?

I am doing a dj page for my project and since finding decent head
shots has proved a little difficult, I have decided to use more
readily available pics.
This idea came when I was searching Kristin's site for pictures and
came across a shot of Nick speaking into a radio mic from the ep
"Dead Air". And so was born the show "Knight in the Morning"
Since the only other dj that was ever mentioned was Beemer, I have
had to make up some shows. (I definitely plan to fix this when I go
live, but I am getting under the gun here and needed some filler)

ANYHOO.... who do you think I should use as Beemer? So far I have
only come up with Roger (from "Only the Lonely") His face seems to
kind of fit the voice. Any other ideas?
I was also kind of thinking of just putting Schanke's picture there
just for me. :-)

Thanks!

After this, I only have to do the download and shop pages. Woo hoo!!

Personally, I think this time of year is a poor choice for one. The
students are gearing up for finals, and once summer is here, there's
vacations and what not that will interfere. I'm also not sure McLisa
has the time right at the moment.

I'll be going into rehearsals for 'Rocky Horror Show' in May so
couldn't participate (probably meaning the Ratpack couldn't
participate since I would absolutely not have time to monitor all the
wee lil' ratsies, not to mention write!)

   Just my 2 cents

Not right now, since I'm about to be away from the computer the whole
week after Easter (April 17-24th) and I have to be at a professional
convention in June. I personally wouldn't rule out a war later in
the year, but I haven't talked to Don about it. Note that under the
new rules/conventions, Don and I don't second guess or intervene with
the WM, so we only handle mechanical problems like held lists (hasn't
happened recently in a war, fortunately) or violations of the regular
rules like staying PG/All-Ages (that hasn't happened at all that I
remember).

I like glowing things in war time. One of my fondest memories is the
War in which I, playing as an independent, introduced a large number
of glow-in-the-dark pink rats into CERK. One of the vamp kitties then
dropped one on LC's head. And it was while putting in the rats that
I got a knock on the head and spent the war convinced that I was a
cat. <chortling happily>
