The BIGGER the Better! I wonąt go into detail, but I had the day from H***!!! Anything that could go wrong, did! I honestly thought someone forgot to tell me it was Friday the 13th, especially with 13 things going wrong today. Anyway, I was a bit down, but hubby came in with today's mail and two unexpected packages. The first one was from an author who sent me a wonderful gift, hoping it would inspire me to work on my historical romance novel that recently was put on hold due to house remodeling/construction (over a year of this). The other gift was from a FK fan who included a note, thanking me for giving her many hours of pleasure, reading my fan fiction during her lengthy recovery from surgery. The fan has never seen the TV show, but found my FK fan fiction site by 'Googling' on the internet. Now, she wants to see the show. She lives in Africa, and I'm trying to figure out what set of DVDs can be viewed on her electronic equipment. I also had another email this week from a FK fan fiction reader from South Africa. I've emailed her, asking how she found my site, has she ever seen the show, etc. I think this is wonderful and fascinating. I've had emails concerning my FK fan fiction from all the UK, Germany, Austria, Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, Italy, France, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Saudi Arabia, India, Canada, South America, Mexico, and many others. I have to tell you about the Saudi Arabia contact. At first I thought it was a hoax. <LOL> However, I was intrigued, and thought I would play along, and eventually discover I was chatting with a 75 year old man in Arizona. But after many email exchanges, I discovered the sender and fan was a 15 year old girl who was slipping onto the internet in the wee hours of the night to keep her family from knowing. Somehow she had discovered the world of vampires, and found my FK site. She is desperate to see the TV show. The last contact I had with her was her family discussing the possibility of her her coming to the states to go to a university. She has my email, if that should happen, but she told me the first thing she'll do once settled here is to try to get her hands on the DVDs of "Forever Knight". The main reason that I'm sharing is to let you know it's never too late to share the world of FK. The last few years I've brought new fans into the fandom by sharing my and other talented author's fan fiction with them. They read the fan fiction, and then want the DVDs. Call it 'dragging them in the back door', but who cares. The more fans we have, the better! The BIGGER the Better! Hi Everyone, Kudos to Deborah for sending this message and for sharing the contact info. It is certainly encouraging. :) I know I've said this before but this is the reason why I write so many of my crossovers. I want to introduce fans of other shows to FK. (The Smallville, Mutant X, Xena and...soon...House fans are getting a BIG taste!) Anyone want to try FK/24? hehehe Thanks. Let's keep up the good work! Does anyone remember the name of it? Thanks. If someone can help, I'd be very grateful. Nick is telling Natalie about what it's like to drink blood. I think the scene may have been at the morgue. What I can remember of the conversation goes something like this: Nick: "It's not just our food, Nat. It's how we experience life." (Intervening conversation) Nat: "No wonder it's so seductive." Does someone remember the ep title? Thanks so much! Nat ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Nancy A. According to a fic to FKFIC-L in 1998 by Amie LaRouche, it is from the third season episode, 'Francesca'.
