Are you going to advertise for the Raven as well? After all, there was a
booth for the radio station there at times I believe.

As someone who both reads and writes vampire-genre
fiction (excluding FK), I find that I am attracted to
more "human" vampires (be they "good" or "evil".) Part
of the allure of LC is that he IS the embodiment of
evil. He is the quintessential ancient vampire. Nick
is the soul seeking redemption, which is what makes FK
work so well for me. (Also why I liked Angel when it
was on, although not nearly as much as FK).

In my novel, my two main characters are very "human",
with positive and negative aspects to their
personalities which make them more believable. (I'm
pitting vampires against the Mafia...guess who is the
more evil bunch? :)

Oooooo, awesome idea. I was checking out some of the pages from last
semester's class and it looks like my idea might fit. If the prof
winds up saying no (we have to submit our ideas at some point) I can
always think up something less 'fun'.
It is an online course which will be a bit challenging. As things
get closer I'll probably be asking for more ideas. Of course I'll be
doing the actual work myself, but I might need creative ideas. :-)
I'll keep everyone posted.

Another great idea! This seems like it might be a fun project.

Wanted: experienced phlebotomist to work the graveyard
shift at the Toronto Red Cross. Experience must
include exsanguination expertise and the ability to
work with minimal supervision.

"24" is staffed by lots of Nikita crew-- Michael Loceff, Joel Surnow, Jon
Cassar, Robert Cochran, Howard Gordon, and Sean Callery (music) are all from
that show. I've been hoping more Nikita alumni would show up, myself, being
rather fond of that show. And of course I'd love to see FK folks in there,
too.

For now we haven't seen much of Ger. His character speaks with his regular
accent, though---so this may be the first Canadian terrorist on TV. <g>

ROFL!!!! I like that one! And I can even visualize and hear it in my mind.
Good one.

Yes it did... I believe CERK was LC's personal paging system for NIck. He just
muttered the right string of words and old Nicky-boy comes a-runnin' muhahaha

I think that Nigel Bennett actually said on the commentary of C&C that someone
had gone on to do 24 from FK but I can't remember if it was Jon Cassar

I've always assumed that he didn't *do* anything, that
it was simply the aura LaCroix could exude when he
wanted. Even through the screen the man could be
damned intimidating.
