I've gotten gender confusion at times as well; it's because although one could make the distinction from my full name, I usually use Mel online. Many people think of a guy when they hear that name instead of a girl. I never thought about you said, but a name like that is an asset. Got a question too, just to save space. Have we ever discussed the cause of Nick's amnesia in KiQ? He's a vamp so he healed right away but apparently the neural pathways associated with memory took longer to recover...or was there another reason for it? Well it could be justified as a side effect of Nat's Hocum Pocum but if you want to draw in the fact it was a Tefler (sp?) coated bullet too, they could have worked that into the equation. Then there's the fact it was still lodged in his head.... wonder if the vamp phyisology would try and push it out of the body - like a human rejecting a piercing, the body forces the object out and then heals up.... a right little puzzle box you've opened for me Mel Luicia --- FKMel <sgt_buck_frobisher@y......> wrote: Have we ever > discussed the cause of Nick's amnesia in KiQ? Subject: Time to gather b'day treats for Greg Kramer! Greg "Screed" Kramer's birthday is in early March, and as usual, Bonnie and I are hoping to surprise him with birthday wishes from the Forever Knight crowd. Hisselfishness really enjoys the attention! This year, instead of gathering gifts, we are wanting to surprise him with "flat" objects (birthday cards, drawings, scribbles on a sheet of paper, etc.) You are also invited to send him fan fic and fan poetry. We ask that NO UNPUBLISHED ORIGINAL STORIES OR POEMS be sent. As a professional writer, he probably wouldn't be able to read them (and neither would I for that matter). However, you can write a Forever Knight story or poem, and I think poems about HIM and his birthday would be fine. Of course if you have original published works you want to send, please do! The above mentioned fan fic and fan poetry can also be e-mailed to him through Bonnie or me (we'll save them up and e-mail them on "the" day). I will be issuing a Screed fanfic challenge sometime in the next few weeks on FKFIC in celebration of Greg's birthday. Be afraid - BWAHAHAHAHA. If you want to send him snail mail birthday cards, etc, e-mail Bonnie and she'll give you her address and will then forward them all together: _callalily@l......._ (mailto:callalily@l.......) Any fanfic, etc., can either be e-mailed to her, or to me: _Libratsie@a......._ (mailto:Libratsie@a.......) I didn't think Sean was attractive in his earlier years, and I think Harrison only gets better with age. The only actor I personally have liked (looks) from his 20's to now is Mel Gibson. I think among actresses by far and away the loveliest mature actress is Faye Dunaway. Glenn Close is still magnetic, although I would never call her classically "beautiful". --- VADC <freedom_bandit@y......> wrote: > Still haven't grown into thinking > LaCroix is handsome yet, though. I think the bullet would stay there, becuase think of all the bullets Nat had to take out of Nick in Seasons 1/2... --- Luicia <luicia1705@y.......> wrote: > > Then there's the fact it was still lodged in his > head.... wonder if the vamp phyisology would try and > push it out of the body - like a human rejecting a > piercing, the body forces the object out and then > heals up.... a right little puzzle box you've opened > for me Mel > > "The price for this gift is the darkness of the night, and the blood of humanity to sustain you." -THICKER THAN WATER, Kristen Fife in progress ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 9 Jan 2006 11:24:06 -0800 From: Kristen Fife <fenix23fyre@y......> Subject: Re: Time to gather b'day treats for Greg Kramer! I assumed (yes, I'm guilty of it too) that "Mel" meant a woman. > Have we ever > discussed the cause of Nick's amnesia in KiQ? I wondered about that too. if the bullet was still there (i don't remember myself) that could explain it; I just suspended my disbelief (further). The show is not known for its consistency. <g> funny you remember the title as Knight in Question. i remember it as Night in Question because I remember thinking that it would be much more meaningful with the K, and how silly of the writers not to think of that since they used that particular play-on-words so freely most of the time. chris ;?
