I think LaCroix first response would be one of anger. He probably wouldkill the person who did it to his family, but once he found out the extent of the problem he would deal with it more intelligently. He would only involve the Enforcers if he felt he could manipulate them to do his will or make a point with Nick. Whatever he would do you can be sure it would be fast and deadly: an example to anyone one who might some day have similar ideas. Debbie >From: "David J. That is going to be a busy time of year for me, I'm going to Greece three weeks later, and possibly to a Medieval War the second week in August. :) --- KnghtWtch@a....... wrote: > > In a message dated 12/16/2005 1:46:11 P.M. If it doesn't return...hunt it down, and kill it. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 3 Jan 2006 11:10:31 -0600 From: Christy Stillman <cstillma@u.......> Subject: Re: Getting to know us <<Who are you, where do you live, what do you do?>> Well, "who am I" IS the question we all ask ourselves eventually...oh wait, just the name. Okay, I can do that. <G> Hello, I am Christy Stillman, and, aside from FK Wars, I basically lurk a lot. I live in [Xxxxxxxxx], FL. In the obnoxious world of RL, I am the Office Manager for the Division of Development and Alumni Relations at the University of West Florida. <<Who is your favorite FK character and why?>> LaCroix. I'm a Nunkaholic. I think that pretty much explains the "why" part. <G> <<How long have you been a FK fan? How did you get started?>> I saw the pilot on "Crime Time for Prime Time" and really enjoyed it. However, it was on late, and I had two infants and a full-time job. Sleep sort of took priority. I discovered FK again when it was on Sci-Fi and I was staying home from work with a sick kid. I believe that first episode was "Close Call," and I immediately set the timer on the VCR so I could tape it while I was at work. One day I decided to do an online search, found Mel's fanfic site, and started reading. I contacted one of the authors about a story she'd written, and she told me about the list. Boom. I was there. Been here ever since. <<Have you ever met anyone off the FK lists?>> Yes, I have. A number of them, in fact. I was fortunate enough to attend a couple of the LCA events in Toronto and have made some good friends as a result. <<Favorite Episodes for each season?>> Well, anything that has significant airtime for LaCroix is fine by me. <G> My all-time favorite episode is "Stranger Than Fiction." I thought I'd die laughing at Schanke's version of LaCroix the first time I saw it. I laughed so hard I was literally crying. Still does it to me to this day. <<Other hobbies?>> Oh, I have tons of other interests, but I guess Disney would be at the top of the list. Nothing I love better than a trip to a Disney park with my friends. Unless it's a trip anyplace else with my friends. <G> Star Trek of any flavor pretty much ties with Disney. Love me some Trek. <<Family status?>> Married, two children (one of whom is about to make me a Grandma in March). I have two dogs, Toby and Scarlett (a basset and a beagle/basset mix) and a large number of BIG goldfish in a fish pond in front of my house. <<Have you ever met anyone famous?>> I was around the actors who attended the two LCA's, and I attended the Star Trek 30th anniversary convention in Huntsville, so I don't know that I can actually say that I've "met" anyone famous, but I have been within grabbing distance of them. Also danced in near proximity to Nigel Bennett and his son, Sam, at LCA. (Sam does a mean break dance. Well, okay, he tries...just watch out for the flying limbs.) Does that count? <G> Christy cstillma@u....... ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 3 Jan 2006 11:21:20 -0600 From: Christy Stillman <cstillma@u.......> Subject: Bonnie...no, not that one... (was RE: Getting to know us) << I was a scientist (manufacturing synthetic DNA), but currently I'm looking for a new job (and filling the time as a receptionist with the Red Cross).>> Talk about life imitating art.... <VBG> Christy ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 3 Jan 2006 12:24:16 -0800 From: Patty Costantino <pas_20197@y......> Subject: Re: Getting to know us Better late than never. :-) Who are you, where do you live, what do you do? I'm Patty Costantino, live outside of [Xxxxxxxxxx Xx] and I'm an accountant for a family run retail business. Who is your favorite FK character and why? Nick, because of his determination to persevere with his quest in spite of the obstacles he must face and Natalie, because of her faith and determination in trying to cure Nick and give him his wish. And because, I love routing for underdogs. How long have you been a FK fan? How did you get started? Summer of 1999, I was channel surfing and came upon FK on Scifi. I was drawn to the redemption theme and NN relationship almost immediately. Have you ever met anyone off the FK lists? Yes, many, in DC for Cyrano and Stratford for DNGG in July and Oct 2004, respectively. Favorite Episodes for each season? Season 1: For I Have Sinned, I Will Repay, Only the Lonely and Feeding the Beast Season 2: Stranger Than Fiction, The Fix, Father's Day, Be My Valentine, Partners of the Month, Curiouser and Curiouser Season 3: Night in Question, Sons of Belial, Fever, Ashes to Ashes and yes...Last Knight Other hobbies? Love swimming laps, weightlifting, running and bicycling. Reading a variety of fiction and nonfiction, writing fanfiction, watching mostly crime shows. Volunteer work. Family status? Married, two children, one lab. Have you ever met anyone famous? Since I've lived near DC all of my life, I've met many politicians. Other than that, I met Rodney Dangerfield on the beach at Fort Lauderdale. Sat with Willie Stargell on a plane for six hours. Very nice man! The guys in the office were so envious! <G> Several Redskins over the years including Coach George Allen. Matt Milen and Bruce Clark at a Penn State Fraternity party! At least I think I did! <g> Patty ------------------------------ End of FORKNI-L Digest - 2 Jan 2006 to 3 Jan 2006 (#2006-5) ***********************************************************
