Hi Y'all!

Last year I put together an FK Holiday Card Exchange. I thoroughly
enjoyed receiving cards from all over the world. I also enjoyed finding
cards that were unique to my neck of the woods here in Texas to send out
to my FK family.

I am wondering if there is any interest in doing the Card Exchange again
this year? I'd be glad to organize it again. Let me know at
eowyn23@j....... asap. The last mailing date given on the USPS.com
website for mailing cards and letters to nearly everywhere but Africa and
Central and South America is December 12. I need time to collect snail
mail addresses and get the list out to the participants so that they have
enough time to get their cards written and mailed.

Happy Holidays!

Thanks to everyone who emailed me about the link issue. Sorry about that - I
forgot to log out before I tested it. Thanks for your help! Here are the links
that work:

Sorry, Maura, that link doesn't work - it looks like that's the link to go
direct to your personal page, which needs your eBay password.

Hi Y'all!

I've received quite a few positive responses to having another FK Holiday
Card Exchange so I'm going to go ahead with it. Here's how it works.
Anyone who wants to participate sends their name, mailing address and
preferred email address to me, eowyn23@j......., PRIVATELY and I will put
that name and address on a list. Also if you would please, include the
holidays you celebrate and put "Holiday Card Exchange" in the subject
line. On November 20 I will email the list to everyone on it. You then
send a Christmas card to as many people on the list as you want and/or
can afford postage for. You are not obligated to send everyone a
Christmas card if you don't want to. Then just sit back and enjoy all
the holiday cards! The suggestion was made last year that if you can't
afford the postage to send cards to everyone, then e-cards could be an

I know we have some international friends and the PO has designated
December 5 for Africa and Central and South America and December 12 for
just about everywhere else as the earliest recommended mailing dates for
cards and letters. I'm asking that if you want to participate in the FK
Holiday Card Exchange that you send me your info by Friday, November 18
so that I can get it to everyone in plenty of time to get their cards out
on time.

I will not send this list to anyone who is not on the list and I will
delete the file once it has been sent to all the participants. Happy

Please take care not to send your personal information to the list as
anyone on this list can see it.
Take care to reply to Teri privately.
