Subject: FK Fan Fiction: Second Chance by Deborah A. Hymon

For those interested, I just posted another chapter to the Second Chance
series. This chapter is Chapter Six, Tortured Hearts. The music is 'Frozen'
by Madonna. As usual, there's a button at the top of the chapter to turn the
music off.

My fan fiction can be accessed at:

DeborahAHymon.com

Click on the 'Fan Fiction' button on the left margin, which will take you to
my FK fan fiction site.

Update: I've started writing Chapter Seven; Dimitri and Flame's chapter.

Thanks for the emails and continued interest in my fan fiction; it's greatly
appreciated.

Deborah

Subject: Prayer: So Tired...

As most of you are aware, my husband Paul has a potentially terminal kidney
disease. We've been praying for either his complete and total healing (and,
since it's a hereditary disease, that it would be wiped out of our family once
and for all), or for a donor kidney. With Paul having to miss work for
surgeries and/or days that he is just too ill to work, things are financially
unstable here, adding to the stress. And for whatever reason, I have still been
unable to find a job. And if all of this weren't enough, my cat, Morris, died
on Friday. He was the only pet we have that I actually loved, so his loss is
especially difficult for me. My life has been one series of traumas after
another since I was two years old, and I'm tired. Tired of waiting for
miracles. Tired of praying to a God that doesn't seem to listen (though I know
He does). I was so close to finally being happy a few years ago, but I'm still
here. Yes, my kids 'need' me (though I sincerely doubt that most of the time,
and they frequently tell me just how miserable I make their lives). Paul and
I are two strangers that only have our kids and our tragedies in common any
more. I love him because I choose to, but most days I don't <like> him very
much. The only thing that keeps me from committing suicide (and thus ending
Paul's financial woes), is the fact that I'm terrified of the possibility of
spending an eternity in hell for that horribly selfish act. Yes, I'm a coward,
I admit it. I'm just so very, very tired... please pray for me.

KC,
I truly am concerned by the ordeal that you are going through but I must tell
that you are not coward but I think that you are brave for you choose not to
hurt yourself. Trust in the Lord and He will give you strenght.... and He said
trust your burdens upon me those who are heavily laden Come to me and I will
give you rest. These are just trials in your life that you have to go through.
God is always there and He will not give what we cannot handle. I believe these
will make you stronger. Dont give up KC. I will pray for you!

Julie

KC,
My thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this tuff time. If
you ever want to just rant and rave in an email, please feel free. I am a good
listener. I may not have an answer, but I can listen, and sometimes that is a
little help. Phylis

Yes, please do share. One of the purposes of Forkni-l is sharing con reports.
While the listserv software can't handle pictures, you can post links to sites
where we can find them.
