I totally agree with you, Steph. I don't think anyone meant to take it away
from her, but to offer her assistance if she wants it. You are right, no
one can just take it over, and shouldn't! However, I copied the entire site
for my own use just in case it should disappear. I personally couldn't deal
with not having my FK fix when I want it.

Oh yeah, that is why I have it archived on my pc and on a couple of
cd's. I also keep it accessible when stuff like this happens so others
can view the stories.

For those just coming aboard this conversation. Mel has a lot going on
in her life and renewing her domain isn't a top priority, but does renew
it when she has a chance when it is due in October. Therefore the site
becomes inaccessible. This time, however, her ISP is apparently going

For those interested I keep an archive of the site on one of my domains.

I just couldn't see anything happen to it either.

I try to download various sites on occasion for backup. Occasionally,
though, they disappear before I download them. I have seen too many
sites disappear on us.

Reposted with permission (thanks Don):

A couple of weeks ago I announced I had a bunch of FK VHS tapes available.
I still have 14 videos of episodes, plus a movie, if anyone wants them!
They were all taped at home (in the US, they are NOT European tapes, despite
my living in Germany) so have ads etc.

I have not viewed some of these tapes for at least three or four years -
they've been through two house-moves in that time. Almost all the tapes
were recorded from US television in the late 90's. I really can't guarantee
anything about the quality, and for some of the tapes I can't even guarantee
what is on them - I'm just going by what I've written on the label. I'm
usually pretty good about not taping over anything without writing it down,
so you can be fairly sure of what you're getting! I don't want any money
for these tapes, and I'll pay postage as long as it's not too much.

Note that a lot of the tapes are duplicates.

Tape 1
203 Stranger than Fiction
204 Bad Blood
205 Forward Into The Past
206 Capital Offense
207 Hunted
208 Faithful Followers
209 Undue Process
210 Fathers Day

Tape 2
204 Bad Blood
211 Can't Run Can't Hide
206 Capital Offense

216 The Fire Inside
226 Blood Money

Tape 3
202 A Fate Worse Than Death
203 Stranger Than Fiction
205 Forward Into The Past
207 Hunted
208 Faithful Followers
210 Fathers Day

Tape 4
212 Near Death
213 Crazy Love

Tape 5
226 Blood Money
215 Partners of the Month

Tape 6
223 Be My Valentine
212 Near Death
206 Capital Offense
226 Blood Money
220 Beyond the Law
218 The Fix

Tape 7
209 Undue Process
211 Can't Run Can't Hide
220 Beyond the Law

Tape 10

Tape 11

Tape 12
107 False Witness

Tape 13

110 Dead Air

Tape 14
111 Hunters
112 Dead Issue

Top of the Food Chain/Invasion - I bought this on eBay, it's ex-rental and
not a great copy - but it is hilarious and well worth a look!

If anyone wants any of the tapes, let me know and I'll mail them out ASAP.

I was cataloguing books for our church library, when I stumbled across this
website: www.undergroundhumour.com <http://www.undergroundhumour.com/> . Who
could resist getting Nat the "Got Formaldehyde"
[www.undergroundhumor.com/tshirts/uh_formaldehyde.htm] T-shirt? Certainly not
Schanke! And would he be able to resist the Sexy Caskets calendar? I think not.

Your humble servant,

Angela Gottfred
