Subject: Who is Cousin Sukhmet?

Hi everyone,

I have seen some notes regarding Cousin Sukhmet and the fact that Libby has
her listed as being in New Orleans.

I am 99% certain that unless someone else happens to be using that alias as
well (it's at least slightly possible?), this person would be Lisa Clevenger
whom I too had believed was from Houston (or in any case somewhere in
Texas). I met her in 1999 and she's in my rather sizeable library of photo
albums of Toronto tours and other fan events, and I do recall her saying
that she's from Texas.

I guess that it's possible that she could have moved over the last six
years. Heck, I've done it a few times over the past six years myself.

I have written to her at the last e-mail address I have on record for her,
and I have asked her to write to me and/or the list if she is able to
retrieve my note.

I hope she's okay!

Will

That's a different person, I believe. I haven't heard from Lisa in several
years, but visited her several times. She lives in Dallas. I seem to recall a
couple of people with similiar on-line aliases.

Well that just about says it all.

So.....if anyone has any information on her whereabouts or situation, please
let us know - thanks!

I'm STILL in Texas.
We're okay here - taking in about 50% of the evacuees and finding them new
jobs, homes, lives....
Sorry if I'm lurking mostly there days. I work nights and 12-hour shifts at
that in a VERY busy factory (work the line and QC) and my days of work change
weekly.
But the money is good :)
Take care and we pray for all caught by Katrina....

I like it! But I'm glad you said "trying" to organize! Who do you think
he'd get to go?

I'd think, since they can fly, they be transports

Either flying in supplies or picking up people
& flying them out

I wonder if people would try to shoot at them like they did at the
cops

Some of them might need to be "Wammed"

I'm here, read posts everyday, but busy with Angus getting binded into a
book form and finalizing Forever Knight Tales contract for Jewel Ties to
be published next. I'm always here. Katrina has four friends missing
and one in the hosptial with a broken leg. Stay safe.

That sort of ruins that "keep vampires a secret from mortals" thingie,
don't you think? No way the enforcers would let any of that go on.

However, I can see Nick getting the DeBrabant Foundation to help with
the refugees. That's much more discreet and puts his ill-gotten money
to good use.

I've been thinking about this. Who would go with Nick to rescue New
Orleans? I figure Urs is a fairly safe bet, given that she "doesn't take
death as lightly" as the rest of Vachon's crew. And Vachon himself has that
quixotic streak that gets him helping the underdog, as in "Blackwing". I'm
not so sure about Screed, though.

Oh, dear: did I just incur the wrath of the entire swarm of RatPackers?
No, no--wait a minute!--I'm sure he'd go if Nick *paid* him. He did in
"Black Buddha", after all. (Whew! That's all right. I was worried there
for a moment.)

I'm around, but haven't been doing much onlist because
no one else has. Well and RL stuff, still looking for
a job.

Now the FK moment...I was in Target tonight and heard
them playing that one symphony...the one Nick said he
inspired Mozart on...gah, forgot the title. I wonder
if anyone remembers...

I can just imagine LaCroix's reaction to being asked to go. <g> Janette might
do it. Nat probably would be among the volunteers who are starting to work on
identifying the bodies.

O course, Nick would repeatedly have to be brought out of flashbacks to New
Orleans at various times in the past. :)

I don't remember Nick talking about a Mozart symphony, but there are two
pieces by Beethoven that feature on the show:

Moonlight Sonata (Capital Offense)
Für Elise (Night in Question)
