Yeah, I had a bit of an FK moment last weekend when I
was watching 'Dawn of the Maya' on PBS.  It seems in
Guatemala, they've found remains of a city from a
thousand years earlier than anything previously
discovered, including some almost indecipherable early
Maya glyphs.

One thing they mentioned was that jade to the Maya
symbolized eternity/immortality, kind of ironic in an
FK sense when you think that drinking blood from the
jade cup was supposed to *cure* a vampire, thus end
his/her immortality.
