With the advent of the Internet and e-publishing, it
would be interesting to see if Sony might consider a
print-on-demand option.

I can understand on-air shows, but if you walk into
many book stores, you find oodles of Star Trek books,
Buffy and Angel series that appear to be still coming
out. 

Buffy books are still coming out. The Angel license
recently expired and no one's sure if it'll be
renewed, given to the people licensed with the Buffy
books, or what. That said, Angel comic books have
begun being made again.

I think that's enough, as I got off topic there...

I do see the points being raised; it mostly depends on
availability of money and interest in the product. And
agreed, it might be a good way to attract new fans.
