I read this on yahoo news and thought of LC. He burnded the sketch the young
Hitler drew of him on the train (forget the name of the ep.) Maybe he had
others that he had saved. The auction was in Canada. :-)

This may be splitting hairs, but didn't he say he *had
them put out* rather than put the eye out himself?

I'm finally getting to Toronto! Woo-hoo!

We leave Germany tomorrow for our month-long trip to the States; we'll
have very limited e-mail access while we're there but I'll try to keep
up with things.

Will Steeves has kindly offered to do 'The Tour' on Saturday 6th August,
I don't have any details yet on where and when we're meeting, but if
you're going to be in the area I'm sure he will let you know if you
e-mail him. Hey, Will - I need to know too! ;-) We'll be in Toronto
from Thursday 4th till Sunday 7th August, if anyone else is going to be
there e-mail me and we'll try to hook up.

We'll be staying with friends in Goodhue, Minnesota (near Redwing) from
about the 28th or 29th July until 1st or 2nd August, so if there are
any listsibs in that area that will be free, e-mail me. Nancy Kaminski,
I can't find your e-mail addy so please contact me!

Take care, all.

...today in a store when the cashier rang up my purchases and they came
to $12.28!

She must have thought I was completely insane, because I was grinning
like a maniac. I'd already handed her a $20, but I asked for it back
and charged the sale on my debit card - yes, I *am* that sad. I wanted
the total on my bank statement!

Is there, like, an age limit on this kind of stuff? I thought fans were
supposed to be young, and would grow out of it eventually. I'm 37,
married with a kid, and still going strong!

Ooh! I do hope there's no age limit! I'm 50 and happily hooked - and I've
known others still be active fans when they eventually passed away in their
70s!
