I have been feeling the same way. Its just wierd that
there has been no news, not even a "we don't
know/haven't heard anything" from GWDFC. All the
pleas for some news have been ignored so far, and its
disappointing that two weeks have gone by and nothing
has been said. Although, in my experiences with
international travel (we send 20 kids to latin America
every summer), no news is usually good news. So lets
not worry too much and just hope for the best.

Subject: watching the 2nd season DVDs

Do any of the other long-time fans watch the DVDs sort just being unable to
grasp the fact we now have TWO seasons on DVDs? I remember all the letters
written and e-mails sent, all the sighing and whining and pouting wondering if
we were doing any good. I even remember getting a tad upset (to myself) when it
was suggested we try for DVDs instead of videos as I didn't have a DVD player -
they were FAR too expensive. (I now have three and the newest was cheaper
than a base-line vcr)

Here it is. In my computer room DVD player. The SECOND season DVDs. How much
I've forgotten. How much I've changed in the past 10 years! Episodes I thought
were boring are now very meaningful. Characters I thought were nice but
nothing to go ga ga over, I now "get" the attraction.

How dated some things look (the bulky old cell phones) but how fresh and
"now" the overall episodes seem...

I'm very glad I haven't seen most of these episodes in several years! They
seem so new.

Forever Knight... on DVD.

Thank you to Kickstart the Knight and every other fan who wrote, begged,
pleaded.

Season 1 and 2.

One more to go! Then whenever I want, there'll be the episode I'm thinking
about at my fingertips.

By the way, I'm watching disk 2 and find nothing wrong with them at all. VERY
clear picture and sound quality. I'm extremely pleased.

Toronto's "The Star" online newspaper has a list of Canadians missing
in the Tsunami.

I scanned thru the list and didn't see an entry for either Davies or
Wyn Davies. Let's hope this means that Ger's brother was not in the
area at the time.

Ironically enough, this show will be at the Belasco (West 44th between Times
Square and 6th Ave) where the musical Dracula just closed.

OK, I did a quick scan of the paper in the area where
Ger's family lives and they listed out the family
members of community residents that were known to have
disappeared, and the Davies family was NOT listed in
that publication. That may not mean anything, but I
personally think that our prayers and well-wishing are
the best we can do in this instance. IF somethihg has
happened, when the family is ready they will make an
announcement and I have no doubt that there will be an
avenue for expressing condolences.
