Okay, y'all--

I'm looking for a story in which Nat gets brought
across and Nick and LaCroix take her to a castle and
she gets sick because she's never drunk from a live
source. Anybody know what this is? It's been driving
me bonkers!

Thanks,
Laura

Never heard of this one, but if anyone has it, please let me know too. I'm
very interested. I don't think I've ever read this one.

That sounds like a series written by Amie LaRouche: Perchance to Dream/ What
Dreams may come/ A Guilded Cage. The one that you describe is the third one,
but I'd recommend reading all three in order. I believe they are in
fkfanfic.com. They are 'vintage' stories and I've not seen Amie write anything
other than these.

If you can't find these stories anywhere, I have them and would be glad to
forward them to you. They are very good stories.

Yes, let's hear it for two of our favorite fictional characters, both "born" on
this day--Nick Knight and Santa Claus!

I was looking for information on St. Nicholas last night (full title, St.
Nicholas of Myra--I am NOT making this up). Did you know that he is not only the
patron saint of children, but also of thieves, robbers, and murderers? He acts
as their patron by helping them repent.
(http://www.catholic-forum.com/saints/saintn01.htm ) Now there's an idea just
waiting for a fanfic...

Yep, last year I read a book (novel) The Biography of Santa Claus and
it had that in it. It is a fictional book, but pretty historically
accurate if anyone is interested. A wonderful holiday read.

>From: Janice Cox <jlc_fresno@y......>
>>Smells like fan fic to me. ;-)

Speaking of things that smell like fanfic, I've had an idea floating around
in my brain that won't go away, and I don't have the time or probably the
ability to do anything about it.

It was inspired by the episode of *Cold Case* that was shown a couple weeks
ago. The first victim was named Jane Lambert, and she was hunted through
the woods by a serial killer (played by John Billingsly from *Enterprise*)
wearing night-vision goggles and carrying an old WWII Japanese rifle (very
unique ammunition). They found eight other bodies apparently killed in the
same manner, and found that the common link was that all of the victims had
previously been victims of crimes processed through the same section of the
police department. After eliminating the officers involved in the cases,
they focused on the clerk in the records room. They brought him in for
questioning, but didn't have enough forensics to hold him, and they couldn't
make him confess, so even though everyone knew he did it, he walked away a
free man. One of his parting statements was that he thought it was time to
leave town for a while, and I thought Toronto might be a good place for him
to hide out (continue killing?), and if Jane were Natalie's cousin or
something, it might make a good cross-over.

Subject: FK Moment

I've been reading an FK/BTVS crossover and listening to the musical Buffy
episode in the car CD player, so blame the following weird thought on that.

In one episode LC mentions writing the tune for Nero when Rome burned and
Sweet, the demon from the musical says he made Nero's fiddle. I'll bet that
was quite a violin solo!

Subject: My website

Well folks, I finally have part of my site up and running. There are a few
pages unfinished, but the fanfiction page is up and almost all of the stories are
up. I think I found only 2 bad links and about 3 or 4 stories without links.
I'll fix those tonight. I should have the links page finished next. Those who
have links to my old site, please update your links. My new site is located
at:

http://heartsblood.descentintodarkness.net

If you find any glitches or have any comments, feel free to let me know. I
hope you like the new design!

Yes, I love that show and I agree it would make a great crossover. Now who can
we get to do it? Oh, Nancy Kaminski are you there? Ain't I badddddddd. ;)
