Since Nat had a goddaughter, Cynthia Luce, I would assume the girl's parents
would be considered close friends.

I am at the early stages of writing a story... (getting the facts and
storyline straight)
Without giving too much info, I have a part in which there is a
gathering of close friends (post third season as in the series)
I am not really including co-workers, this is a VERY intimate close
gathering...

So far I have
Myra & Jenny Schanke
Richard's family (can't think of names right now)

Anyone else? Not sure they really had a lot of close friends?
If that's all, fine with me... I just didn't want to be missing
anyone.

Well, Nat must have gone to university/medical school, and we know she was
friends with Lori Haynes, even if they drifted apart - she must have had
some other friends from uni or even junior high! Just because she hasn't
seen them for years doesn't mean they aren't still friends. (And that gives
you an excuse to create all sorts of school friends....)

Probably someone has already answered this, but the actor's name is Maurice
Dean Wint.

He also played Winger (if I recall the character's name properly), the
android detective on Tekwar, as well as a few characters on the new Outer
Limits. I am also 75% sure that his voice is currently on a radio ad for
Satin Finish Hardwood Flooring - Hint for Toronto fans: It's on 680 News, oh
wait, there's also a listen live webcast for anyone who's curious,
www.680news.com - you might have to wait for a while because it's only on
about once or twice an hour.

I find myself in San Jose for a few days and wondered if there are any list
members in the area who could offer me some advice on how to make the most of my
evenings (days are taken up with business).

Thanks,

Does Canada have a version of the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration)? How
do they deal with drug traffickers? If an international drug courier turned up
dead, who would get the case?

i believe our version of the DEA is the Canadian Drug and Food
Administration. drug traffickers are treated as any other criminal / suspect
(no special procedures). the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) would get
any case related to international affairs.

Hope this answers oyu questions. if you need anything else email me.

That tutorial is a great way to get into it - I'm a war newbie.
Just a teensy question:

The rule to notify a faction of an attack was revoked, wasn't it?

BTW, Mildred, when's the court martial due? How much chocolate do you need
to bribe the witnesses? ;-)

It might have been. I don't remember off hand. You would kind of have
to have some sort of notice, right? So you don't do your attack when
the targets are there and you don't want them to be.

The courtmartial will happen, we're just working out the timing. I've
got my chocolate and stuff for bribes.

Speaking of... could people who ordered Jaenette Jellies or Tracy
Tarts last War contact me directly? I need personal account evidence
that giving away the Nunkie pops and Nicksicles was a good marketing
ploy.

No, there is no "drug czar" or DEA-like organization in Canada. The RCMP (aka
"the horsemen" or "buffalo cabs" to other cops) would likely get any case with
known international aspects.
