I set myself to digest because with the list picking
up it was getting hard to keep up. But I'm excited to
be getting to take part in a war. I'm new at this and
it might take time to get familiar with everything but
I'll catch on quick.

Hey, y'all,

How will we know what factions are playing and who we can play with? I
read the war tutorial but that had to do with how the war is waged, none
of the preliminary work...

The prep work is a lot of talking.  :)

Anyone can correct be on the below timeline if they want.

First, people submit proposals for the Premise.  Then McLisa and Don talk
and figure out which one to pick.

Then the list members talks amongst themselves within factions to work out
dates.  The faction leaders, McLisa, Don, and the WarLeader (WarMistress or
WarMaster) hash out the best dates.

Sometimes at this point the WarLeader will drop a prelim post with an idea
(or short story) setting up the premise.

Then, the factions start working amongst themselves for the "getting to
Toronto" posts, and some general ideas of events/attacks they want to do
(including some contact between factions).

Then the WarLeader drops the inital post, and the ball starts rolling.

True.  After the bite he went crazy from the virus and He gave the stake to
Tracy and he walked into it but Nick was hiding and saw it.  She buried him
next to screed be cause she felt he would like that.
