Oohh think of the police corruption potential. Not that LC would stoop to
stealing money. No I mean think of all the murders (vampire caused) that
he would have been able to hush up as police captain (including many
that he caused himself.)

"No, I find nothing strange in the two small wounds on this victim's neck.
Mosquitos can be quite vicious in Toronto these days. In my precinct, I
routinely see bites like these."

He could have turned that precinct into one big vampire smorgasboard.

No, I don't think so. Although LC was all for 'being true to one's
nature', he did not condone rampant feeding. He was all for being
descrete and especially in current modern times, eyebrows would have
been raised if too many strange deaths began to occur in one area.
You can only cover up so much... ie, yes you can tell the ME to
ignore a death, but think of how many people under different offices
are present at a crime scene. (the forensics and the duty officers
would not necessarily be under his leadership)
I think the main reason he would have been interested was to keep an
eye on Nick, perhaps to 'torment' him. He did seem to pop up in the
same jobs that Nick had over the years.

Many giggles again! I guess Sheriff Joe (Arpaio, of Maricopa County,
Arizona) has met his match. LaCroix has always been about being the best at
what he
does, perhaps he desires to usurp ol' Joe as the toughest sheriff in (North)
America. Something to ponder on....

Subject: Looking for CERK logo

Hi-
This past weekend I found a package of transfer paper in a drawer, so
no I have been making t-shirts on my computer. I am looking for a
nice clear version of the CERK logo. I can do some work to clean it
up, but I would prefer an already clear one.
Any help would be great, please email me off list. Thanks!

Okay, maybe it's just too early in the morning, and lack of coffee is
getting to me, but what's the connection? I so totally missed it....

Hubby and I went to one of the casinos in Biloxi this weekend to celebrate
our 25th anniversary. Lo and behold, what room did they give us but number
1228. Had to explain to hubby why I was giggling so when we walked away
from the registration desk. <BG>
