Subject: Looking for Catherine Clemens

Well, pooh. I'm not online much these days, and in trying to catch up on
email, I accidentally deleted a message from Catherine Clemens. Is there a
kind soul out there who could send me her email addy offlist? (Or,
Catherine, if you're out there, can you contact me again?)

Thanks ever so!

Subject: My decision!

I decided that I want to have the biggest collection of FK Fanfiction
of anyone.
So, I'm asking anyone/everyone who has any FK fiction anywhere to
please e-mail me (off-list) with a list of all their fiction that
they would be willing to let me have a copy of. That way, I can make
sure I have all of it.
If there is stuff you will let me have, but don't want anyone else to
have without going to you first, please let me know and I'll put it
in a separate folder so I don't accidentally give it out.
Right now, I have 127.7 MB of fiction sorted by author. That's
stuffed (I'm on a Mac--think zipped, you PC people <G>).
My goal is to completely fill a CD with just fanfic.
I'll have to put everything else on another CD.

Can you tell that my entire life is lurking on this list?

I hope someone out there is passing these on to Marci's family, or at least
that they're reading the list.

McLisa, about to go interview for my former boss's job. Good thoughts and
offers to have LaCroix perform some hypnotism on my behalf will be gratefully
received.

Hi friends.

Don has said that Marci's funeral service is open to anyone who might wish
to attend. If anyone is close enough to do so, the service is set for
Thursday at 2pm at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, Texas.

Because of the number of online friends Marci had, from all parts of the
continent, we are organizing a drop-in, online wake on Saturday. It will be
in IRC, which I believe can hold a larger number of persons per channel, and
you do not need to have a Yahoo account like you do to have Yahoo messenger.
For those who do not have IRC at this time but wish to join in the online
wake, there will be a link at the bottom to where you can find various IRC
programs. It will start at 3pm Eastern (noon, pacific), and probably go for
several hours as people come and go according to their other commitments but
stop by to share their memories or anecdotes of Marci, and how she has
touched our lives and hearts. The channel name will be #MarcisWake & will
take place on EFnet.

With the wake, please remember that there will probably be people present of
various ages or sensitivities, so please remember to keep your content &
wording to a PG13 rating. I do not know yet if any of Marci's family will be
present for the wake, but a number of her relatives do have internet,
including her mom.

If you've never been to a wake, people share a special memory or anecdote,
and when they've finished speaking, they raise a toast to the deceased. When
these are 'in person', each person takes a turn. I expect in an online chat
it will be difficult to exactly take turns per se, but I do ask you, for the
ease of following the thread of each person's sharing, to please not have
too many sharing at any one time, and remember to offer a toast after you've
shared your thoughts. If you wish to keep to the traditions as much as
possible, you'll need to BYOB, since toasting done with virtual liquor is
just not quite as effective somehow <g>

We will also have a page where people may leave their condolences or share
memories & anecdotes up shortly as well, and will provide more info on that
at the time.

If you need an IRC program, this URL is a list of IRC programs for various
systems -- from Windows & Mac to DOS, UNIX, & even PalmOS, webTV & amiga, as
well as many others. Click the type right for your machine, and then select
a program from the list. Click on it and it will give you a review of the
program, as well as a link to where you can get it. http://www.ircreviews
org/clients/

Hope to see you sometime during the wake.

HUGS!!
-Micki
