Yes! And I stand corrected--he did give the ring to the young actress. Did he
keep the doll? I can't recall.

I believe you're thinking of the old-fashioned briefcase, name plate--and
perhaps some pre-Columbian artifacts?-- from the final scene of Spin Doctor,
because the flashback for that ep was to his time as an archeology prof in the
McCarthy era. The name plate was brass on a wooden base, it read ASSOC. PROF.
OF ARCHEOLOGY NICHOLAS GIRARD.

Also, we see a lovely pre-Columbian-type artifact close-up early in Father
Figure, where he tells Lisa (the 10-year-old girl) "Hey, Lisa, you break it,
you've bought it."

Erica's amethyst(?)

He gave the ring to the young actress at the end of Last Act saying that
Erica wanted her to have it.
He kept Erica's doll though.

I always wondered about that box he kept his keys and watch in. It looked
Chinese to me-- maybe one of those antique laquered boxes?

And I have the caddy keychain from that lovely box.

Anyway, at the end of 1966 when Nick is listening to Lilly Toffler on the
phone, doesn't she tell him she is going to send him a piece of the wall? I know
we don't actually see it, but depending on when your story takes place, it could
be a part. It has a part in my story A Friend in Need and will also have a
part in A Friend in Deed (if I ever get time to get it written).

Does anyone remember what Nick did the the Black Budha statue?

I think at the end of BB2, he said he was going to drop it into the
Atlantic where it should have gone years ago. I guess he flew out
and dropped it at the Titanic's resting place.
Now wouldn't it be funny if it was one of the artifacts brought up be
salvagers - imagine pulling up something from the ocean floor that
supposedly sunk 90 years ago and it is pristine. Story?
