Has anyone else gone back over to the 'Snakes and Ladders' website? They've
changed the picture. Now it's a closeup of Catherine wearing glasses perched on
the end of her nose, and a playful grin!

Hey, I didn't see this before:

The cast and crew of Snakes & Ladders talk about what it's like working with
Catherine Disher.

Yeah, she looks great!! Not much different than third season! She does have
the playful grin!

As a fellow writer, I can totally understand! I've had work lost, and felt
totally like quitting! Give your husband a hug for me, since he's so supportive!
My husband me writing FK stuff, so you're very lucky!
It must be a writer's thing, feeling like a character is 'talking' to you.
There are times when I can picture one of the characters sitting in the chair
beside me, telling me what I should write! Is that one of the eccentricities of
creative genius? >G<
Anyway, I am glad you decided to keep writing. I would have really missed
seeing your work! Besides, I'm dying to know what happens next in Emotional
Concert and Nat's 40th Birthday!!
 Good luck and God bless!

Subject: Fic question

I have gotten yet another idea for a fic (a *gasp* happy one!!!!).
It is just in the planning stage since I am trying to finish the one
I am working on and I have another in the wings, but...

Does anyone know a site where I can find a current decent map of
France/Belgium (ie the Brabant area) with towns and cities and such?
Also, do we have any concensus on where (generally, of course) in
Brabant Nick was from - ie where the manor was?
Please email me off-list, thanks!
-Amanda

That last post should have gone to Deb privately. Sorry!
My brain has been on the fritz for the last few days. ::sigh::

Brabant is the area around the river Schelde, ie Antwerp. You might find
some info on the web.

Guys, I'm not sure whether we have an epidemic over quoting the whole previous
posts, or just an epidemic of notes that were not supposed to go to Forkni-l.
If you think you're replying to the person who wrote a post, _PLEASE, PLEASE_
check and make sure you aren't sending to Forkni-l instead. Some mailers pick up
Forkni-l's address with "reply." Also, Forkni-l isn't set up so that "reply"
goes automatically to the person who posted the note instead of to the whole
list. I know some lists can do that. AFAIK, we can't. Anyway, please make sure
your reply is going to whoever@his/heraddress and not to forkni-l@l........

If you really, truly mean to send your answer to a post to the list, then please
remember that the rule is _four lines only_ of the previous post may be quoted.
If you have more than one point to answer, then you may quote the next four
lines when you get to them. Just please, don't quote the entire post. That
includes sigs and headers.

I realize accidents happen. It's just that it's happening so consistently that
I think a refresher is a good idea.
