(Not knowing a thing about Canada's restaurants...)
Find a Greek restaurant. Call the local Greek Orthodox church. They
can tell you which restaurants have Greeks cooking in them. You'll
get real souvlaki that way.

In looking for a tape to record 1-800-Missing on, I found that I had
an episode of 'Once A Thief' on the tape I planned to use. As I was
fast-forwarding it (no time to watch it now) I stopped it a couple of
times to see how far along I was and discovered it was the ep with
Nigel, John, Greg Kramer and the caddy!!!! I happened to stop at the
point where Nigel is <still in shock here not really being a cousin!>
in the tub!!!! (You see quite a bit more than you do in the toga in
AtA!!) and then John comes in to talk to him and pours water over him
from a pitcher! Whoa... what the Unsuiteds could do with that scene!
I was just laughing at the few minutes I saw. I'll have to sit down
and watch it next friday when I'm off work.
Oh... with this brief description is this *the* episode that the list
was talking about when people were discussing Once A Thief?

My brother went to the local Greek festival and cam
back complaining about the un-authenticness of the
food. He said that it was more than bland, it was
tasteless. <bg> Find a real Greek
rastauraunt--preferably where the owners speak greek.
Ask for lots of yummy tzacki sauce to go on it. /me
starts to drool at the thought

I knew I found a good Greek restaurant here in Minneapolis when I saw
that the menu was written in Greek on a chalkboard on the wall, and I
heard a lot of customers speaking Greek.

The place had really good food---although I had to point at what
someone else was having and say, "I'll have one of those!" because
they didn't have an English-language menu!

I imagine the details-- birth date, place, etc, got changed from time to time,
but I don't think it would be necessary to change your name much-- most names
are far from unique. Try putting yours in a search engine, and see what comes
up! A couple of reasons that could explain why Nick changed his name while
LaCroix did not: for one thing, LaCroix is perfectly happy as he is. A large part
of changing your name is trying to change who you are. Secondly, Nick was
always far more interactive with mortals than LaCroix, so would have more of a
concern over being recognised.
