My tracking info from Barms and Noble says they are still on route to the
local post office. Mailed on the 21st, they still haven't arrived :( Make it
worse my DVD has no picture today :(=

My caps are ones that you fit using some sort of quick-setting cement, so that
you can put them in and take them out whenever you want. Nice idea, unless you
accidentally wiggle one while it's setting, in which case it doesn't end up
fitting very tight. The other problem is that I couldn't quite close my mouth
all the way (my bottom teeth hit the backs of the caps), and that was really
annoying, not to mention hard on the jaw muscles. I don't know if it was the
caps or me, because my teeth are so small, it's hard to find caps that fit.
Next year, I'm going to spring for a pair of professional fitted caps. I
imagine that's what the actors had, since they managed to talk without lisping!

It's so nice to be able to sit and watch episode after episode, but now the
fanific fairies are attacking me! Too many ideas! Help!

Sorry Cecilia,

I realized when I replied I sent this directly to Cecilia when I meant
to send it to the list.

I would also try. That happened several times with a particular carrier
and I complained to his supervisor. Don't just complain at the front
desk. Go to the window where you pick up your mail if something is
insured. I don't live in a particular nice neighborhood and had to
complain several times. You may not get your dvd's but if you get mad
enough and get your carrier into enough trouble they will never do it
again! I would push to get reimbursed, though.

This place has a good selection. They even match the shade of your own
teeth.

I must admit I don't know that much about postal regulations, but if someone
mailed something to you and you didn't get it, it would seem to me either the
PO or the sender should be responsible. You had nothing to do with it.

If I were you, I would call the Complaints/Victim Services Department of your
State's Attorney's/District Attorney's Office. There is no way you should
have to withstand this loss.

dance, dance! Megan got her DVDs and we watched them
all day but she keeps pausing them to write stuff
down! I really hope everyones getting good fic ideas
because I really like fanfics but I can't write them
myself.

Sorry, that's not true. I sell on auction and unless the buyer asks for and
pays for insurance, the seller is NOT responsible - especially if it WAS
delivered. Her best bet is to continue to complain to the post office that the
box was left in an unsafe area.

Hopefully, someone might have one they are willing to part with at the
"special intro rate."

I still haven't had a chance to watch all the episodes yet, but I sure am
enjoying the DVDs. Wow. It is kind of hard to believe that after all these
years, FK is finally out in a professional format!

I've always wanted to customize a model kit to look like Nick's Caddy. . .
y'know, correct Canadian license plates; Schanke's souvlaki stains on the
passenger seat, etc.

From what I understand, Nick's Caddy is a 1961 Cadillac Series 62; I've been
told that a model kit does not exist for that exact model and year.
However, I recall from a long time ago (when I was a FORKNI-L member the
first time around) that another FORKNI-L member said a particular model kit
comes close. (A '59 Caddy Biarritz ?)

Does anyone know what that model kit is, who makes it, and is it still in
production ?

Thanks muchly.

Working The Knight Shift,

Roman
