I finally got around to watching DK1 on the dvd and i kept asking myself why
did they delete that knight scene in the museum? McLisa has said a couple
times on list that she suspects that Sony monitors this list--i'm not sure if i
believe that but she has said it. Well, i remember it was said on here a long
time ago about how when Nick was mortal, he wouldn't have been wearing that
type of armor. Well, perhaps, it wasn't on the dvd b/c it was considered a
mistake. Maybe they figured this out on their on, or maybe they *are* monitoring
this list. And this kind of goes back to what i said in the other e-mail.
Now go ahead and flame me, but at least i'm telling you what might have
happened.

At least they didn't edit out my favorite line in that ep :)

Perhaps but that wasn't the only part they cut out. They cut some of the
scene between Nick and Natalie at nick's loft (re the homeless always being
their prey) and also a piece out of the scene in the museum where the guard
comes in and is puzzled as to how Nick got there. He hadn't seen him come
in.. Needless to say Nick hynotizes him to remember him passing by.

Gosh, I hope not, if they decide to take out the inaccuracys there are 2 big
problems. Firstly we are gonna miss a lot of scenes (over 3 series that is)
and secondly the inaccuracies are really fun to debate :)

>At least they didn't edit out my favorite line in that ep :)

You're lucky my favorite line from the first episode was Nick saying he
could smell Schankes cologne which was missing :(

Going back to lurkerdom now *waves*

Smoke from the SoCal fires arrived high in the sky over
us yesterday around noon, and late in the afternoon
began settling down, so that around five o'clock it was
dimming and obscuring the normally crystal clear views
of mountains and desert. We are now breathing smoke
from the SoCal fires in *xxxxxxx, Arizona*.

Is that what that is? I thought the overcast looked a little dirty.
It just doesn't stop, does it? My prayers are with all of you.

Subject: Lisa Ryder Interview

If you people can drag yourselves away from your DVDs for a moment, there is a
good interview with Lisa Ryder in the November issue of the TV magazine 'Cult
Times'. It mainly discusses the new series of 'Andromeda' but there is a bit
which might be of particular interest (and I quote):

...in the show's fourth season opener, 'Answers to Questions Never Asked'. The
episode reunited Ryder with an old acquaintance.

"Our guest star was Nigel Bennett, whom I'd worked with on 'Forever Knight',"
she says. "Actually, we were both on the series but never had scenes with one
another. It's funny, but when we were filming that 'Andromeda' episode I had a
feeling of deja vu and thought, 'Lucien LaCroix and Tracy Vetter are finally
getting together'. I'm sure it will please those 'Forever Knight' fans who may
have always wondered if my character and Nigel's ever did meet up. In fact, I
ad-libbed a line that loosely makes reference to that at the end of the scene.
I hope they keep it in. It was a treat for me to see Nigel again and finally
work with him."

Portia said, <snip> People just walk through the door or step out of the car
and NEVER close the door! I'm always thinking, "Hey, were you raised in a
barn?? You're wasting air-conditioning, and what about bugs??"

I was just going through some old digests from the beginning of October that
i never got around to reading. In BMV, Nick and Natalie enter her apartment
and leave the door open. My first thought was, Sidney is going to get out!
For the majority of the last 16 yrs i've had from 1 to 17 cats running through
the house, so of course i'm use to not being able to hold an exterior door open
and having to walk out the door backwards to make sure no one escapes ;)
For those wondering, I currently just have 1 cat in the house now, and the
other 12 are outside. All of which are fixed, have their shots, and aren't
being abused just b/c they live in a multi-cat household. Better to add that
now than to get a 100 off-list e-mails later inquiring about that :)

Nancy said, <snip> Other things you won't see---cruising around looking for a
parking place (the convenient parking on TV is called "the Kojak Effect",
so-called because on Kojak, they never had to hunt for a parking spot, despite
being in Manhattan during business hours).

In the movie Fried Green Tomatoes, you see Kathy Bates' character in the
movie driving around looking for a space at the supermarket, and, well if you
haven't seen that movie go rent it *smile*

Nancy also said <snip> In my next fanfic Nick is definitely going to be
caught vacuuming and doing laundry.

I have Nick vacuuming in the fic that i asked on list twice for beta readers
for it. That's also the only story i've written. Natalie catches Nick
vacuuming and she is surprised, lol. The people beta reading my story are really
nice and 1 person has already finished it :) Can you tell i added this mostly
so that my post would be on topic? *looks innocent*
