I've been studing vampires too long I feel like one. Myth says no soul no
image. FK has the myth's but also there own ideas. It all depends what you
follow.

I was at Shop Rite picking up my dad's pictures and slides and the
total (including tax) came out to $12.28. Don't you love when that
happens?

Also,since I wasn't sure it would be on-topic by itself... I am
working on my new website (which so happens to be FK related) and I
am looking for those blood dripping (animated or otherwise)
horizontal lines/separater thingys. I don't know html, so if someone
has the gif or pcx or whatever file, could you send it to me, or
point me in the direction of where I may find them. Thanks!

-Amanda

That's also a good thought-- after all, if you assume you're already damned,
what's the point in worrying about your soul?

I went to the MN Renaissance Festival today, and the entire day was
filled with FK moments. A "Blue Knight" flavored slushie caught my
eye, so of course I had to get one.

I think Nick might've enjoyed going to a modern-day Medieval Faire,
provided he could attend one at night or somehow go out in the daylight.

Amanda,

I'll see what I can do to find that watch. I actually have both American
and Canadian versions on tape. If I can I'll try to get a good screen
capture of it.

On one of my other lists, I got an e-mail from someone noting that Nova
Scotia in general, and the Halifax area in particular, have been hit hard
-- downed trees, power outages, and the like.

Please let the lists know if you are OK.

Subject: Announcing the Crusaders FK Halloween fiction Contest

This is posted with permission from Lisa.
...........................................................

The leaves are turning, mornings are crisp and cool, and the frost's
on the pumpkin. This can mean only one thing: Halloween is almost
here!

The Fall issue of the Crusader, newsletter of Kickstart the Knight,
has some special features planned. Among these features is the
Crusader Halloween Fiction Contest.

Here's the premise: write an FK story with a Halloween theme. The
story can be serious, humorous, or scary, whatever you wish. Send the
story to Susan Field for publication on the Crusader website.
http://www.nancykam.com/crusader/

We will ask readers to vote for their favorite story. The winner will
receive a basket of Halloween goodies, chock ful of candy and lots of extra
surprises to make Halloween fun. In addition, the winner will receive an award
certificate.

The deadline for submitting stories is October 21 (coincidentally, the
date the FK DVDs are being released). Submitted stories will be
published on he website by October 23, with voting open at that time.
Voting will close on October 31. The lucky winner will receive her or
his festive Halloween basket soon after!

So, all you writers out there---limber up your fingers, warm up those
keyboards, and start writing!
