Yesterday, I wrote a note to the list saying:

>Usually, the first snowfall happens between mid to late November, although
>it sometimes can happen in early November or early September.

Obviously, in that last sentence, I meant "early November or early
December".

When I went to the Shrewthering, I remember it was snowing a bit as I
drove from the Toronto airport to my hotel. And the Shrewthering was
at the end of April.

I also ordered mine from BN. I emailed them about the price change and they
told me that they would honor the 24.99 price for any preorders made before
the change.
Hope that helps

Brief emergence from lurkdom..... :o)

I am 99.9999....%, and then some, certain I saw Ben Bass in the previews for
"Next Week in an all new 'Dead Like Me....," or however the wording goes on
those things <g>. "Dead Like Me," on the West Coast, airs on Friday nights at
10 pm, reairs on ShowtimeToo(2), Saturdays at 9 pm, then once more on Sunday
night back on regular Showtime at 10 pm. If you have Showtime, and can catch
it tonight, you'll see the clip after the end of the current episode; plus, they
are showing a little behind the scenes short regarding the series as a whole
at about 10:45--West Coast/Pacific time.

Hoping that is helpful!!

Your wish is my command. For LaCroix. ;) Pompeii
exploded in 79 AD, so that means that as of 1996, he's
been a vampire for approximately 1917 years. Now, we
know that LaCroix *likes* being a vampire, so he's
never denied himself. So, if he killed one mortal a
night, 365 nights a year to sastify his hunger, that's
about 699,705 mortals. ;) Now, neither this nor
Nick's calculations take in account leap years, or if
they killed more than one!

On the other hand (I'm *sure* I saw a story somewhere that ran these numbers,
and they pointed it out), there may have been times when they didn't get
anything at all, such as during travel, or in times of famine.

There's also one other GWD program that I know of. His
next Tracker episode, 'The Miracle' should air on
about the third Wednesday of the month at
7Central/8Eastern if Scifi doesn't screw up. IIRC, he
doesn't show up in Tracker again until a couple eps
before the end with 'Into the Breach' and 'What Lies
Beneath'.

Mel, who doesn't count Remember When because he was
only in flashbacks from previous eps

That works. :) Or you can always slather on the
Brie, by hearing "Agincourt" instead of "Hastings".
Vampires could conceivably have been out and about
in the day during that battle as it had rained for days
and was probably still overcast the day of the battle.
I love the idea of Nick and LaCroix being in the area
for those events. I can imagine them talking over the
battle afterwards: LC's military appreciation for
Henry V's tactics and contempt for the French for
their mistakes.

Hey everyone,

Guess what?! Sci-fi is airing FK again, probably to help promote the DVD
release! It shows it as part of the daytime rotation on Oct. 16 & 17:

http://www.scifi.com/schedulebot/index.php3?program=FOREVER_KNIGHT&x=114&y=7

It's listed as "Forever Knight marathon" and airs 5 hours each day, starting
at 11:00 am and ending at 4:00 pm ET.

Great news!

I taped it but never got around to watching it yet. I
gather it involves a donut shop and a vampire trying
to reform his ways. And it's set in Toronto, hehe. I
also saw another vamp movie set there....was about a
cop who fell in love with a female vampire. Don't
recall the name.

And of course, it is a weekday and I am at work (or in transit) from
7am-4.45pm. :( Yeah, I have all the eps commercial free on tape and
have been watching them quite a bit lately, but I just love watching
it when it is on-air. I feel like I am sending a message or
something.
