Everyone wrote about the The Trilogy. I'm very excited. It will definitely be
out 10/21 on DVD/CD? Do I understand correctly?

I have at least 3 copies of first season on video. I have Primetime after
Crime time, Canadian and Scifi, and a set I was told was a director's cut. I'll
probably donate my tapes to those that don't have dvd players (for the cost
of postage and maybe tape). It will clean out a lot of space.

I'd hold off any thanks until we actually get our hands on Season 1.

I can't wait to get my hands onto one, maybe two sets of the DVDs!!

Since the DVDs aren't being issued as a favor to the fans, but as a
commercial enterprise geared to maximizing profits, might I suggest that the
more sets
they sell -- and we buy -- would be the best, and only, "thank you" required?

Umm... 15 episodes? Excuse me? There are 23? in the first season...26 in
the second season, and 22 in the third season. So what is this *15*
episodes???

 From dvdfile.com:
"From the vast Columbia catalog comes a quintet of library favorites,
including The Forever Knight Trilogy - Part 1. This five-disc set includes
15 episodes, all presented in 4:3 full screen and 2.0 Dolby stereo, plus
bonus trailers. Retail is $29.95. "

I may not be correct but if memory serves me......it was stated earlier on
the list that CBS had contracted 13 episodes of FK to see if it would work for
their "Crime Time After Prime Time" programming. Some time later, the
additional episodes of the first season were contracted. Therefore this may be
the 15 episodes you are mentioning are referred too.

I agree, I think we should send them thank you cards with a copy of our
receipt in them.

That'd be a great idea! Of course actually BUYING the set will do a lot - and
they don't really need a copy of the receipt to know that. But gifts to
certain VIPS will also make a lasting impression making them remember us.
Besides,
it is a "nice" thing to do. Numbers talk and is what will do the final and
only business "impression" they really care about, but doing something unusually
nice is something they will remember. Businesses are so use to being yelled
at by unhappy consumers, "nice" sticks in their minds.

Hey! I tried to send this yesterday and for some reason it didn't go. I
pre-ordered the FK on DVD yesterday! Barnes and Noble is already set up for
pre-orders. Following suggestings on the list, I order two sets--one for me and
one for my twin. Yes, the more people who buy it, the more likely we are to get
all three seasons.

buy.com has it too. It is on sale for $22.99. But I have to wait
until I get home. I'm not sending my credit card info over my
computer at work! <g> I am so giddy over this!

Cool! Amazon should have it available to pre-order any time now as well.

However, while online orders are important, so are purchases from a local
retail store like "Best Buy." If you're planning to buy 2 sets, pick an
online store *and* a local store.

For those ordering from Amazon, I know a number of people with webpages have
links to Amazon. Everything ordered from linking to Amazon through these
webpages earns the webpage owner points, etc. This can help finance a webpage.

I know www.screedwashere.com probably still has such a link for Greg Kramer's
books - you can link to the page through it and even though it is not Greg's
books, we still get something for it.

Thanks! (I haven't checked to make sure we are still set up to do that, but we
were last time I looked)
