Since a bunch of people wrote to me on this 'issue' I figured I'd let
everyone know.
I went to build-a-bear today and got my "Lucien Lacroix" bear. Going
with the majority I got a white bear - I got the big 21" polar bear
so he would be larger and more imposing than my 15" Nick bear. He is
wearing black leather pants (looked better than the regular black
pants) with a black t-shirt and black boots. I couldn't resist (hold
on to your hats Cousins) putting him in red satin underwear. <VBG> I
just gotta get him some black socks cuz his leg hair shows below the
pants. (oh just be quiet whoever is thinking bad thoughts) Now I
need a sword pin.

I also got my Nick bear some heart boxers to wear under his jeans. He
is in his Dark Knight outfit (stonewashed jeans, white turtleneck -
still looking for a leather jacket)

I plan to get a Nat bear (wearing scrubs) and a Janette bear - they
have a nice evening gown.

Oh and both Nick and Lacroix growl when they get angry (or when you
squeeze their arms)

Not to mention cavities, and the inevitable trip to the dentist.

And if they were brought across in medieval times like Nick, they would
also have to get accustomed to a whole new diet. One always assume
Nick thinks of food in terms of what we eat. but in facy his
memories of meals included such dishes as roasted peacock and swans.

(Things we take for granted such as tomatoes were considered poisonous at
one time.)

and just think how hard it would be after having spent a life time being
the top of the food chain to have to suddenly deal with petty day to
day problems of everyday life. No more whammying to get your own way.
