Does anyone on the list know where someone could find
the "sword pin" that LaCroix wears? I remember someone
mentioning that there was a fan who replicated it. Is
there a lead someone could send to me?

I just wanted to take a minute to wish good health to all our Canadian
list members and their families in light of the increasing number of
SARS cases being identified in Canada.

I hope you all remain in good health.

Thanks for the good wishes, Barb. Likes a lot of things in the news these
days, I think the SARS news has been a bit on the hysterical side. I can
assure you that I haven't seen any black crosses painted on doors nor any
carts piled with dead bodies pulled by men crying, "Bring out your dead!"
<g>

SARS is certainly a topic of conversation as common as the weather, but
life goes on pretty much as normal. People are still going shopping, to
concerts and the like. They may not be as huggy-kissy as they usually are,
but then, we Canadians are a reticent lot. <g>

Thank you for your kind thoughts. Living in Scarborough we are a very
conscious of it.

I have not been touched by it (touch wood) but my sister in law's best
friend and her family had to go into quarantine for ten days because her
husband happened to be in the Scarborough Grace hospital during the
initial outbreak. She was fine. My mother's doctor cancelled her
appointment because as he said there was no need for her to even run the
risk of being exposed to it. The school that was closed for ten days was
the school where my sister in law and brother both used to work. .
And when I went to the dentist's last week there were signs on all the
doctors offices saying if you have a fever or any of the symptoms of Sars or
have been in china, Singapore etc. Stop right there and don't come any
farther.

Incidently the Scarborough Grace Hospital which is considered to be the
source from which all the cases in Toronto sprung was once mentioned In
Forever Knight. Trophy Girl's Deena Ellis had disc alignment surgery
there.

Thanks for your kind thoughts. At present (touch wood!) the SARS cases
are concentrated in Toronto, and I do sympathise with the worried folks
in the GTO. My province, Alberta, hasn't had a single probable case. The
few suspected cases that we had all proved to be negative.

FK moment here...

For the past consecutive three days, I have discovered two moles and a bird
on my porch. Makes me wonder if Screed is in town! (Yes, they have all been
"partially chewed") Yes, it's more likely that my cat got outside and decided
to leave presents, but the other, more FK related possibility made me smile.

Yesterday as I was leaving work (I work in the radiology dept of a
regional trauma center) I saw this one surgical resident leaving
also. I had only seen him in scrubs and thought he looked so much
like Lacroix in NiQ. Well, yesterday I saw him in street clothes -
he was wearing black jeans with a black windbreaker, WOW!!! He looked
exactly like LC. I had to do a double take and almost walked into
the doors (forgot to his the button to open them)

Thanks!!

Hi Everyone!

Well, its been awhile so here is the latest..
Thanks to the really generous fans that have been sending me all kinds of
nifty items, KtK is hoping to have our next auction sometime in May.. We
have had a few delays due to RL things going on but hopefully thats when it
will be and It should be a good one!
Now as far our official KtK newsletter "the Crusader" is concerned, due to
circumstances, we cannot publish the hard copy version at this time.
 However!
The online version will be getting back to you all beginning June.I have an
all new Newsletter crew eager to get started :). There will be many new
features we hope you will enjoy, as well as many of the original features. For
all that are not familiar with our newsletter, past issues can be seen on our
official website: http://www.ktk.op.nu
And as always, we will ask from time to time if anyone on the lists has
anything they would like to post in the newsletter such anyone meeting the
stars of FK at a play, or such, short stories, items to trade or sell for our
classifieds, and all kinds of other things as long as they are FK related...
I will send another update out to the list when the newsletter is actually
done,with Lisa's permission..:)
As alot of you know Forever Knight is not on the Sci-fi channel for now. the
contract the channel had with the show ran out.
That does not mean it wont or can't return at a later time,as they have it
listed on the site as "Currently not on the schedule"so hang in there and of
course once in a while let Sci-Fi know how very much you enjoyed having it
and would like its return to the schedule very soon. It was the fans that
brought it back before, we can make it happen again!

Kickstart The Knight has not stopped nor will we be going away anytime soon.
the Crew and I will continue to try to get all the FK stuff we can for you
all...DVD's and anything else we dare try for !

All the Very Best to Everyone!
