Not in my experience. I haveave a friend whose husband is in his mid 60's and
finally got the heart of a 16 year old. If it matches it matches I guess. As
to the longevity of the transplant......I haven't a klew!

Although Kristin has a fomidable site, you might want to try the KtK site
which is:

Look under Computer Goodies and you should find many screensavers. They are
of the individual characters...no couplings<G>.

I don't know about age, but size certainly is. There's no way
Nat's heart was the same as that little girl's.

I was doing a search for FK articles when an
unexpected one showed up. It was about a dog show in
Providence, RI. in 2001. The dog representing the toy
group was named Ch. Nauset Forever Knight, a Chinese
crested from Chicopee, Mass. Unfortunately, he lost
to a standard poodle for 'Best in Show'.

Unless of course the problem with the heart was that is was enlarged, in which
case, why replace it with another large heart? also, most organs do "shrink" or
"enlarge" to fit where needed. that is why a father can donate a kidney to his 2
year old son, just as a 2 year old could give a new kidney to a 35 year old man.

I use kidneys cause that is what I know....

That surely has to be Spike! my favourite little vampire. Kyer writes these
stories and they are a good read.
I know she has a website but i dont have the URL. Perhaps someone else can

I had a similar moment not too long ago. I was looking up pictures
on webshots and put in a search for "Forever Knight". One of the
photos it came up with was a rider in full show outfit (ie riding
jacket and pants, etc) horse. It's full name was ARS Forever Knight.
The horse is a beautiful black stallion. So of course I downloaded
the photo.

An element that is important is size. A woman often cannot accept the
heart of a man, because it's too big to fit in her chest cavity. And
children need child organs, or they simply won't fit.

I do know the thing Greg would really like - and that was the pile of dead
rats in FEVER that was in Screed's place after he went on his feeding frenzy.

In truth, the item I'd REALLY like is Screed's dagger. The gent who won it at
Bridging the Knight did let me get a close look at it. I should've taken a
picture, but for some reason didn't. It was h'a thingee o' beauty, h'it wuz.

I'd also love to have another rat of Screed's. There were lots of them in the
show.

Well, Nick had it in Paris in the 1920's (1930's?) in Baby, Baby.
Perhaps he made it himself, in a phase of dabbling in sculpture/carving

Of course, when I take a couple of days off from work to relax, FK

Anyhoo.....
I am watching AtA and when Divia calls Lacroix at the station and
askes Does he know what it feels like to be betrayed by his own
child, and then she says something like "I didn't think so." I
I'm sitting there on the couch saying Yes he does!!!! He knows
exactly how she feels. Nick staked him only a few years before, plus
Nick has spurned the 'gift' for centuries.
But, he could be a bit nervous, since he knew how, ummmm ..... upset
he was when Nick staked him, and he wasn't buried in the desert for
2000 years. So she had a little more time to brood.
Ok, just had to get that off my chest.

My feelings exactly. The way Nat's memory was just a
blur the morning after, it had to be LC whammying her.
And she went all gaga in the restaurant itself, her
speech becoming slurred like a drunk's (after one
glass of champagne I doubt it was the alcohol).

I wonder if LC used hypnotism on Schanke in Close
